888-408-4775 FRAUD SCAM ALERT EXPEDIA.COM
This phony number has been setup to commit fraud and scam travellers. I fell victim and in my case the scammer was impersonating Expedia.
This phone number was listed as Expedia's 24/7 customer service number.
The scammer stole money from me changed my reservation and stole my credit card information. The charge was made under another merchant account that uses a TX address. The scammers also use this phone number- 855-430-7292 ( Hotel Cancellation). After doing some research it appears this is wide scale fraud operation targeting travellers. This phone number seems to be tied to airline cancellations as well.
After disputing the charge and reporting this to my credit card company the scammers has the nerve to send me an email from this email [email protected]
Stating they are trying to talk to me.
There was also this phone number listed 1-(888) 354-0246
After googling this phone number it appears that it is tied to other airline ticket scams.
The scammers even have the nerve to send an email.
This crooks belong behind bars.
This is being written to create awareness and stop others from falling pray to this scams.
