They from Executive Lending Unit claimed I was pre-approved for a loan I did not apply for. They couldn't provide information beyond "Executive Lending Unit" until I gave them enough information to do a 'soft credit check', which I refused. When I wouldn't give them information such as my social security number, name, etc., they hung up on me. The same number, (205) 537-7215, called back moments later with another person attempting the same.

This is Paul Johnson. I saw you were looking for a personal loan with a lender that we work with, and I can work on this approval for you. I want to check a few things to get this done. Dial one, we can talk now, or call me at 855-3572024.” They call several times a day. I’ve asked to be removed from the calling list to no avail. When I eventually get through to a live person, they can only tell me they are from "Executive Lending Unit" and cannot provide any more information unless I give them enough information to run a 'soft credit check' (such as name, social, address, etc.)

Call scam. Won't stop calling me despite me asking to be put on the do not call list. They are telling me I have a loan and they are finalizing it. Sounds like a scam and will not respect the do not call order I have requested.

I have been receiving multiple phone calls from different numbers all about a loan i've been approved for that i never applied for. I just spoke to a "Melissa" who identified the company and said they would take me off their list - that it would take up to 72 hours to take effect.
