Evolve Health Job Imposter - Fake Check - Equipment Purchase Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

I applied for a data entry clerk job for Evolve health via a job website. I was contacted first via phone, then I was in contact with an hr representative, Fred Miller, who gave me instructions via google chat while performing the onboarding process. I signed an offer letter emailed by [email protected]. They used Evolve health's NPI number 130629964. I was sent a Bank of America check for 3800.00 via Fedex which I deposited into my account on August 4, 2023. The check cleared. I was given a list of materials that I would need to set up my office. I was then instructed to make purchases for my office supplies from the money from that check. I purchased a work computer from the hp.com website and had to cashapp money to $nvadr, two payments of 1000. I later had to cashapp 450.00 to $baldtee123. These were described to me as approved vendors that would then fedex the personalised office supplies to me. I was slated to actually start my paid on the job training August 14, 2023. iIwas sent another check via fedex that was then lost in the mail. Instead I was instructed to purchase check paper and print out a check to then remote deposit. The second check was also for 3800.00. It was from a different bank, but the same company. I deposited the second check on August 10, 2023. The first check bounced on later that day on August 10, 2023. The second check bounced today on August 22,2023.
