Scam

A man came to my parents house offering to give a bid on tree work. We spoke and I told him we would think about it. The next day he came and did minimal work that was actually not what we wanted. In fact he cut the wrong tree.
Then he came into the house and asked my elderly mother for payment. Also asked her for pain pills, or Xanax or narcotics.
After that my brother told him to leave. Upon leaving he hacked our beautiful dogwood tree in the front yard into a stump and left the branches everywhere. It will cost a fortune to have it removed. And it was precious to us.

I want these people found and prosecuted. I have pictures of the suspect. And a license plate number.
He went by the name of Bruce. Black male approx 45-50 years old.

Mr. Stillwell came to our door offering a business card and his tree service to clear some branches and two dead trees from our property. He estimated a price of $2100, I gave him $1,320 in advances. They dropped a huge branch on our pool. Damage est. $2,000. Now he says we are scamming him! Do NOT use this company.

Individual represented tree service and claimed to be doing a job for my neighbor. Offered to cut 3 downed trees into firewood for set price. I showed him trees that needed to be cut. His so-called crew started working, and he asked for cash, which I did not have. I gave him a check instead. After they left, I went behind my house and saw that they had only cut one of the large trees into huge chunks that would take a forklift to move. I stopped payment on the check immediately. He called after the weekend and I texted back that they had not done what they said they would do. His response was that there was a misunderstanding. Yeah, right,
