So I applied for some part-time jobs on indeed and I got messaged by this company off of WhatsApp complaining. It was jellyfish marketing company so how it supposed to work is you submit a review and you get a commission for each review that you put on for an online product. I just started on Friday and I was thinking about maybe five cents or $.10 per review but they have what they call these lucky orders where they charge pretty much to submit the review and you have to complete this lucky order in order to continue with the other orders You have so what they do is they tell you to pay upfront but once you finish your work for the end at the end of the day they refund you so on Friday they asked me to front $18 and I think I ended up making $60 that day on Saturday. I think I ended up printing $30 and ended up making $200 so come Sunday I’m thinking it’ll be around the same thing however The lucky orders increased in the amount that they asked for increase significantly and I ended up borrowing from family members for a total of $618 for them to then give me another lucky order saying with the amount of like $1600 and I’ve throughout this whole process even starting with $18. They asked me to front on Friday I told him I don’t have it, which is why I was trying to get this part-time job however they said just keep doing it and you’ll make money but after today and the fact, you know again that they have all of these ““ lucky orders And there’s no way they can say they can’t cancel it. They can’t delete it. I asked if they could handle it and just take whatever earnings from it I asked them that they can you know keep whatever and just give me my $618 back nothing so I thought that this company was legitimate but it is not and now I was already short for money hence why I was looking for a part-time job but now I’m in the hole even more $618

They offered me a job helping sell record rights and earning commission. All was good until they suggested I deposit funds for a clerical issue they claimed. When I asked about the policy or memorandum in regards to the deposit or rule. They shunned me .

Someone by the name of ellsa waverly messaged me this. "I'm sorry to bother you, but I have a remote job available with a monthly salary of $5,900 plus commissions. If you're interested, please let me know."

Its through droga 5. Alright, you'll get 2 sets of tasks each day, and you'll need to finish both to count it as a full workday. Each set has 40 orders, and you'll earn commission on every one you complete. She has my forst name.

So I was told that I would make money from this supposed job. I have already deposited over $3000 United States I was told I could withdraw after and now my credit score has dropped by 20 points so they expect another $3000 on top so now they want over $6000 for me to withdraw the whole amount, I need my money back. I thought this was legitimate they stole from me. There’s no phone number. There’s no email address. I can’t find anything on them. I have screenshots of proof I was not aware of any of these things, but I do need my money back and this is not the only place I’ve been scammed by.

I am not completely aware of the information regarding where this company is located is accurate due to the fact that they’re so close mouthed about who they are, but the scam works like this. I am dispatched to simply click on products from companies like Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. which rates and gives feedback on these products automatically. Each product sold has a price which I get a commission from. However, when a “bundle” order comes, it can give one a negative amount in that person’s account which they then have to cover with THEIR OWN MONEY! Now, they claim a person isn’t supposed to get more than three “bundled” orders in a month and they’re usually spread out over time. I however got TWO in one week! The first, I had to pay 120.00, and the second, I paid 1370, to complete these tasks. Then yesterday, I get ANOTHER one, and this time they’re telling me I won 700,000.00, and the only way I can get that bonus and my money back is to pay ANOTHER twenty seven hundred dollars to get it, otherwise, my cash will just sit there for all eternity or until I pay it. But here’s the catch…I still have ONE task left, and the probability of it being another “bundle” still exists, and that is how I believe it will end the scam, when I get an amount so ridiculously high, that I have no choice but to give up and forfeit my cash to them. That is what I believe the ruse was from the beginning. They allows me to get a false sense of security, so that when I was relaxed, they could finally drop the final nail in my coffin, so to speak. Which is ironic, because I am a Cancer patient, and the entire time I BEGGED them not to steal my money. I know this is partly my fault, but I am so desperate to supplement my income and I am unable to work, so I guess I allowed my better judgment to be taken advantage of. It’s all the money I have in the world, and I don’t care about any 700,000 dollars. I just want my 1370.00 back, and if that’s not possible, I just want these people to stop scamming others. Because as my sister pointed out, there are a lot worse off people than me who’ve fallen victim to this very trap.

Was told We push app developers to publish their enterprise apps (data revolution). Our mission is to help them optimize their apps, get data traffic and rankings, increase exposure, and attract more users to download and use their apps. You don't need to go to the office to work, you can work at home or anywhere convenient for you. Then i need to add just a few funds to complete task the i was lucky to get xombo order had to add 300 received 2nd combo order for 890 that i was unable to complete once completed i was told i took too long so i can be trusted add 2k and then i can withdraw well after that i need to now add 3k to make sure withdrawal will go thru, have yet to withdraw anything EVER

Zobtask said i could make $2 per data entry & maximum $300 a day with a increase after 15 days. I would be able to withdraw a minimum of $750. I entred profile info & direct deposit info & was allowed to start immediatedly. After earning $702 I could no longer enter data & received a notice that i needed to send copy of my license, high school diploma in order to continue. Once they received it, i was then told i needed to send $65 for document verification fee via cash ap biocoin & then i could continue working within 24 hours. After i sent the $65, not only was i not able to continue working as stated, they now needed $120 before i could continue data entry for a job offer letter for lawyer, accountung, etc and that it would be refunded after 1000 entries.

I also contacted support 4 days prior to sending the $65 if any other fees or costs would be needed after the $65. I was told no other fees would be needed and after receiving the $65 i could continue working and withdraw earnings. This was also stated on my dashboard that showed my earnings. I feel zobtask has been very deceptive & should have been upfront with the fees associated with their data entry offering prior to allowing me to complete 350 entries without paying me & then requested a $65 & $120 fee.

I was tricked into a task scam where I was contacted to "work" for this company. It was explained that they needed employees to optimize applications (like apps on your phone) by utilizing cryptocurrency and basically clicking to optimize the app to which they paid you a portion of the optimization so each day you would withdraw the crypto that was put into the optimization and then you would get any percentage as a daily "bonus". It was explained to me that if I completed 2 sets of tasks ( 40 apps optimized each) for 5 consecutive days, I would be paid 800USD, 15 consecutive days would pay 1500USD, and 30 consecutive days would pay 3800 so the salary for one month (30 days) would be 800+100+3800=6100USD. You could actually complete 3 sets of optimization tasks in a day so the more you worked, the more you earned.

All was well, I thought, until day 5 when I hit some larger commission tasks in a row. I was asked to put in my own cryptocurrency, and it was a large sum. So my "trainer" explained to me how to transfer from a crypto wallet, etc. However at one point somehow she was able to access my funds and wound up transferring up to $8000 from my bank account to my crypto wallet. After that, $14000 went "missing" and when I looked in Apptopia, it was there and they wanted me to add another $31000 in order to get the $22000 back. Which is when I immediately called my bank to report the fraud.

However, since my money was authorized to transfer to a crypto wallet, my bank wasn't able to recover or cover any of the lost funds. These people should be prosecuted for fraud!! Any ideas as to how are welcomed.

I was approached for a “job offer” from WhatsApp from a girl Seraphina who offered me the job. The “job” wound up costing me $2500. It’s a total scam. You have to “invest” first and after I invested the $2500 I was asked for $4000 more. I wised up but I know I’ll never see that $2500 again.

I applied for a job offer listed on facebook marketplace. Once contacted, the person soon after directed the conversation to whatsapp, and then to telegram. They said what i would next be doing was their training course. Which was giving good reviews to hotels and airbnbs that already had good reviews. I was signed into this persons probable fake account and not the one they had me create for myself. Somehow I made them over $2,000 after three hours and then after being told to sign into my account, I had a -$20.06 balance. They then asked for my banking information or zelle or paypal and stated that once i paid that amount (-$20.06) that i would receive my "salary" which was somewhere around $300. I knew from the beginning this all seemed suspicious and fraudulent, but being recently unemployed i was desperate and fell for it. However, I told them I wasn't giving them one cent of my money. They tried and tried to persuade me but i refused. Then they stopped being polite and i knew it was a scam. I returned the unkind words and that was when they flipped out and started cursing at me and saying what a loser i was and showing me a screenshot that displayed they already received their payout of over $2,000. I reported this to fb and they took down the initial profile that offered the job but as far as the website that is still running, nothing has happened with that. and, no doubt, they have already created a new fake profile trying to scam others the same exact way. This website needs to be shut down and reported to whomever can prosecute or prevent them from doing this again. There are so many scams on facebook marketplace right now it is disturbing. Ones claiming to sell all kinds of drugs with pictures of them posted, and guns (!), and pathetically offering free food that you needed to "apply" for and no doubt provide sensitive information. Fb marketplace is out of control and they simply aren't doing enough to prevent this. All one can do is report the profile and they take it down only for the scammer to just create a new one. I know some of them can be deceiving and seem like real job offers, but i don't understand how facebook or their algorithms can allow people to post pictures of drugs for sale and that doesn't get automatically flagged and taken down. This is highly disturbing because i consider myself somewhat intelligent and i know thewre are many people less so that are falling for these scams. I have lost all faith in facebook marketplace and honestly i think that whole platform should be taken down until facebook can figure out how to filter out these scams. Again, the website that tried to scam me is https://www.whitestar-realestatework.com

An Agent contacts you to see if you want a part-time job working online promoting products. another agent trains you through the process. You have to select a product, a task, and submit for a profit. When the product is higher than your wallet you have to cover the difference in order to gain the profit. Once the profit grows, you ask to withdraw and a "beginner" cannot but a "coach" can withdrawn all profits, upgrade to a coach, which more tasks need to be completed. Once completed, after adding much more money to the tasks, a large profit is requested to be withdrawn but then taxes have to be paid on the profit, another large sum of money has to be sent over to the company, this is where I stopped.

They start you of by saying its 100 per day and you have to review items online you have to do 40 items in a task then if you get a high item price you have to add money and then you make profit out of it the first 2 days were fine then the third that number gets higher to a amount that is impossible to get funds to deposit they slowly reel you in.

I was offered an online job that was high paying job and flexible working hour just like the job I was looking for the moment. As soon as I joined the platform In my first day they added some money to my work account which was required to do app optimization. On my first day I earned about 76 dollar in just couple of minutes, may be within 10-15 minutes of app optimization. 2nd day I earned about 100 dollar. Both this amount I was capable to withdraw the money. The next day they said I have to add my own money to do the task and all these money are refundable with high commission after completion of task. As I was able to withdraw my previous income I trusted that I will get back my money as well, so I continued. First I had to add 100 dollar and then account started to receive more and more negative balance and I was never able to withdraw money rather it asked me to deposit more and more money saying that I will get back everything soon after completion of task. After loosing my all deposit and even my credit card balance I finally realized I was being scammed but the scammers targeted me for more and more money. After that I came to know that a lot of people were scammed just like me.
