Hello Applicant,
This is to acknowledge the receipt of your email regarding the job advert on Indeed. The position that I need help with for now is a "Shipping/Receiving Assistant". I usually would not hire anyone this way but I urgently need the services of an Assistant/special need due to my very busy schedules and to take care of business and running errands since I am not around and always busy due to my work. Am an Interior Designer with a large client base and because of my job I'm constantly out of the States. My former Assistant just got married and moved to Canada permanently. If you accept my offer, I will need you to take charge of my mail pickups and drop off as well as run errands for me. The job is flexible so you can do it wherever you are as long as there is a post office in the area. What I really need most in this offer is your total Honesty and Trust. I will pay for the first week in advance to run any errands,and will also have my mails/packages forwarded to a nearby post office where you can pick them from at your convenience. All errands will be in your city so it is not a must you have a car, but if you do it might be a plus. When you get my mails/packages, you will be required to mail them to where I want them mailed too. The content of the packages will be business and personal mails. All expenses and taxes will be covered by me and you are to work for 3 days per week (2 hours daily). You will be doing this for 3 weeks until I get back to town so we can formally meet and discuss the possibility of making this arrangement long term if I'm satisfied with your performance. This assignment could be on-going till December holidays if you are still available but you are free to exit at any-time you want to. You will be working from home. The hours are flexible so you can spread those 6 hours a week on your own time
I am willing to pay $750.00 weekly including gas and other expenses.

a) I will set up a formal interview with you and give you a tour of the Organization and introduce you to specific individuals you will be working with.
b) You will begin your office based position immediately i get back to the states.
c) However I have a lot of pending assignments that need to be handled and I believe these tasks are simple tasks which you can carry out pending the time i get back.
d) You will be receiving weekly paychecks upon completion of your weekly assignments.
I will be needing your service immediately,so once the information below is received,I have a financial status in the state which will handle your payment. I will request your first week payment be mailed to you along with the pay to run errands for me for the first week. Most importantly, what I really need from you is your total honesty, organizational skill and ability to carry out the task with less or no supervision on time. I want to believe you will be committed to assist me.

Reached out to me on indeed, i don’t remember applying to this job at all. Been receiving weird job reports for a couple of weeks now. Gave them my personal email address, not sure if this is a scam but it’s definitely off. Reached out via text message on my personal phone number.
