Available position was being advertised on Indeed.com. Submitted resume and cover letter which includes personal details such as my address, my contact information & my employement history. Received multiple emails pertaining to scheduling an interview. Only realized it was a scam after receiving an additional email - confirming interview was scheduled - but this email had a completley different domain than the one i received prior.

They sent out an email saying I was selected for a virtual/remote position. They provided a document of steps on how to move forward with processing my information for an interview and to setup direct deposit for the position. I went to the Alvesco construction website and they said their is a scam going around and they do no hire for remote positions. They also asked for this reported ScamPulse.com scam tracker.

Applied for job on indeed back in June, and got an email on 7/24/24 for a interview through signal app and that it would be all through chat until hired. I Googled search Alvesco Construction and went to their website and it states on their front page that they are aware of a hiring scam and to report if targeted by this.
