Drivers License was submitted via email and were also trying to obtain SSN card for onboarding. Also had me open a bank account they would accept so they could send me over $1,000 + in funds for starting work supplies/ equipment such as , Laptop, software, desk, desk chair, etc.

I received the following email from the "scammer"



B***** P****** ,

I'm more than happy to inform you that your position has been confirmed. I had to verify all the information you provided hope I'll have your %100 diligence. Your quick response to e-mails and effectiveness will be required as you will be receiving your first assignment very soon. I will get back to you as soon as I have payment for errands and your salary sent to you with set of Instructions on each task you are to perform. You are to dress properly like you are in an office environment whenever handling your assignment. Please note that this job requires you to check your email 2-3 times daily as your total commitment is however needed. A two weeks notice is required if you want to terminate this job so please acknowledge receiving my email and have a wonderful day. I also sent a text message .

Scammer posted a "Marketing Internship" job on LinkedIn. I was contacted from a random number for a Zoom interview. When I joined, there were 30+ other people there. The scammer had us fill out a job experience form to make it to the "second round" where we were allowed to ask about hours, compensation, etc. They mentioned training us in marketing which would not be needed if it were truly a marketing internship. Clearly a MLM/pyramid scheme.

They wanted to “erase” your credit card debt, while you were supposedly doing a job interview to work from home doing data entry. Told I didn’t feel comfortable giving out that information. Said I have the job but they needed my information, so I said it sounded phishy. Their response was “Okay”. His name is Thomas Williams and the phone number used on the Signal app is 810-553-9564. It was posted on Facebook by a Melissa dawn cusack. I’m sure she was probably hacked, but did respond in instant messenger about the job, so not sure. Just doesn’t seem legitimate to me.

This was a job offer, with an offer letter. They said they would send me money to set up my home office, and payoff any credit card debt.

Was told after 30 day probationary period a check will be Mailed to my address within 10 business days. Still haven't gotten the check and will be in the process of taking legal action. This company has my SSN and the HR department's number says it has been temporarily suspended. There is no way to get in contact with anyone and they aren't responding to emails either.

I sent a job application through linkdln for a personal assistant and a person named thomas skeffington saw my application and then a few days later I was contacted by mail by a certain Santiago Evans as a hiring manager to send me a job offer without having had a previous interview, he spoke to me by phone to do a short interview but everything seemed suspicious to me but even so I thought it was true they sent me the contract and some instructions, they told me that 1 month to do a training with a person called monica sanders through webex a communication platform .

They approached using name Jamie Kiser, and wanted me to do a interview on skype using chat/voice. Using TALEND/HR/457BB60005 as an identifiable hiring process, with Michelle Sitzman ( Cheif People Officer ).

Text stated they saw I was looking for a job on jobfinder & wanted to set up a teams meeting and add some other person to the meeting. They gave me an ADT code to get into the meeting which was weird so I googled the situation and some very nice person already posted the experience as fraud or whatever.

After working with them for 2 weeks, my paranoia kicked in and I ran a domain search on their website and pulled up that they are located in Punjab. However, their "LLC" is listed in Los Angeles. Even on LinkedIn. They sent me a W-9 to fill out with my social and everything. They use a TRANS-CRM as well, shipping labels, packing invoice in the items. The Amazon Boxes come perfect. I asked for a copy of the managers ID listed on the package to pick up from the FedEx Location, they said sure and then the package just got returned to sender, never got the ID. be on the Lookout for this Company. (Payroll) or HR is "Vickie Miller". Email is "[email protected]"

I applied for an Executive Administrative Assistant position at Drill Fever that was posted on LinkedIn. I received a direct email back from Heather Pantalone, claiming to be the owner of Drill Fever. She requested some information: full name, street address, mobile and current occupation, which I provided. Her response was another lengthy email asking a number of random questions about me, providing me with my "first task" for her and informing me that a check for $2,850 would be arriving to me in a day or two. My instruction was to deposit the check with my bank and let her know when the funds are available to me. My response to her was that I will not perform any tasks on her bahalf or accept/deposit any money until I've completed all the necessary employment paperwork indicating I'm a legitimate employee of Drill Fever. Yesterday, May 18th I received a check for $2,850 from a company named Atlantic Sales & Salvage out of East Brunswick, New Jersey, signed by Thomas Fino. I have the check in my possession and have not deposited it. I hope you're able to stop this before she get's her claws into someone who is not as knowledgable. Thank you

I was originally contacted by a woman named *** ****** from Xotic Ventures to be a Jr Service Assistant. I was to work a probationary period of 30 days and would get $3000 at the end of the 30 days regardless of being chosen to move on with them or not. I worked diligently through the 30 days making transactions for them. I was told at the end of the 30 days that they would be bringing me on full time, would be processing my $3000 payroll payment, and would be receiving tax forms to fill out and a contract for the first year of employment. The payment was to be an ACH payment that they told me after several days was still being processed. As you can imagine the payment never arrived and they have since ghosted me. I had a handler that call me every day to set up the money transfers his name is **** *******, and his number is ************. The transfers worked like this. They had me give them my personal account information so they could send deposits via Zelle. I would then take that money and buy Bitcoin using CashApp, then send it to a Bitcoin wallet that was provided to me by them. I also made Bitcoin cash kiosk transfers where I had to go take out cash and physically put the money into the kiosk machine. I understand if they do not want to continue with my employment after the probationary period but they owe me the $3000 for the month of April 2023. Please let me know if I have any recourse in this matter and take a look at the uploaded files I saved from them.

I might have applied to the position on LinkedIn got an email from them offering me the job, no interview. The pay was low for a Personal Assistant. Seemed sketchy, googled company looked at webste, seemed bare full of fluff. No real info.

I got an email saying I had gotten a job offer from a guy named Jaxon Gomez with the House of Hope Investment Group. I had applied to their listing on LinkedIn, posted by a guy named Thomas Skeffington. I thought it was weird how they didn’t ask for an interview or assessment before giving an offer. However, it got weirder when I went to research them and only found their website, no other links or records like a wikipedia page or a review website. The LinkedIn job listing had been deleted as well as the profile for Thomas Skeffington. Also the “job offer” document they sent was made in word without any official logo or signature.

It is obvious that after a Google search for the company name the company does not exist as it would have a website on the internet. The wording of the email is phishing for information. And the tone of the email is too easy for a job offer-type letter, especially one relating to a "high-paying" job, with flexible hours and remote work in the "European Union." Another weird thing in the letter is it says it is contacting me again, and I was never contacted the first time. This kind of started after adding an additional job search platform. I'm not naming that platform because it is a major one, and I really have no proof of a relationship. Large job search websites are very helpful, and they should check that their data has not been hacked.

Sent a job application link without having applied for a job. Used the same email address which was used previously to scam with another job opening that requested to reveal personal info, SSN and credit score information for an interview

Here are both the email:

We request that each potential employee complete this as this ensures that our future employee is credible, trustworthy, and can be an asset to the company.

Found me on ziprecruiter emailed him my resume he sent back an email asking me to fill out a form with name address email and phone number he sent me a text saying im hired that i would get paid 400 a week in office when handling accounts while he is out of state said i would get my first assignment in mail and he would have my payment arrangement when i got my first task.

They claimed to be hiring for Spirotherm on Indeed. They responded with an email and asked me to respond on Signal for an interview. When I responded, they asked a few questions and then quickly offered me a job. I asked how to meet in person to do the hiring documentation and didn’t hear back. It seemed odd because there were immediate responses until I asked that question. When they didn’t respond in 48 hours, I looked them up and found out other people experienced the same thing. I don’t know if it’s related or not, but today I got a text wanting me to authorize a transaction from a bank account that I don’t have.

I received an Email on 05/15/2023 from what I believe to be a fake company that called itself 'Committed Goals Investing', concerning a job opportunity for a position titled 'Customer Service Officer'. This Email started by greeting me by name, then welcoming me to the company and had 3 documents attached including an application form for me to complete, then send back to them by Email. I completed the application form, sent it back, and the next day got another Email that said 'We have received your filled Application Form. Could you tell me are you will be alright to accept a phone call tomorrow at 11 a.m.? *notice poor grammar-several instances in our correspondences*

After our conversation, we will decide our next steps about your employment.' I responded that 11 am was good for me, and awaited the call the next morning, but instead got another Email that said 'We tried to call to you, however, probably your phone is not in the network coverage area or your voicemail was turned on. It's okay, we'll call you back another day. Now, let me ask you a few questions:

Have you already had remote work experience?

Do you have any experience working with investments?

Do you think you can devote at least 3-4 hours a day to remote work?

Can you say that you are a responsible person?' I was confused by this because I did not understand why my phone number would be 'not in the coverage area' for Philadelphia, so I went back to the website for the company and began trying to contact them. Unfortunately, none of the contact methods provided were functioning, leaving no means of interacting with them besides Email. I responded to this latest Email, answered the questions, and was now starting to think that I had fallen victim to a very elaborate phishing scam of some sort. One where an entire fictional company was created, and instead of links to click, they are sending out job applications to collect personal data. I am shocked by this because they had an actual company domain with committedgoals.com, and not some disposable freemail as is normal, and they actually took the time to create a full website for their fictional business. I am hoping that this report will help to stop whoever is perpetrating this, as well as stop any other innocent job hunters from falling victim to this phishing scam!!
