Employment Scam - Progression, Inc Impostor Reports & Reviews (2)

I was emailed and told that I was being considered for a position as Remote Front End Developer. I did not specifically recall applying for that job, but I'd mass-applied for dozens of jobs on LinkedIn and not kept a log, so I believed it.

I was sent a PDF of interview questions; I sent back a PDF answering them. The next email said I had been selected for the job, and asked for:
- Full Name
- Complete Mailing Address
- Contact Information
- Email Address

I provided it, giving my phone number for the rather vague "Contact Information". Since this information is also publicly available on my LinkedIn, I'm not clear quite what the point of this scam was.

After that, I did not get any further replies. I reached out Progression via their website (https://www.progressioninc.com/) and they confirmed the email domain "@progressioninccareers.com" was wrong, theirs is "@progressioninc.com".

- Reston, VA, USA

Scammer is impersonating Progression, Inc (www.progressioninc.com) with a domain that is registered in Japan (progressioninccareers.com). Reaching out to individuals saying they have a job offer via email using our business address. The email they are using is [email protected].
