The scammer goes by the name Alec G***** (not sure if this is real) [email protected]. He runs a website/service called BackgroundProof.com. The service is meant to deceive prospective employers by providing fake job histories. Essentially, he has created multiple fake staffing agencies that pretend to be a staffing firm that have placed you at prestigious companies so that you can lie on your resume to get jobs. When background checks for employment are done, he has someone from the fake agencies claim you worked with them. Two of his known fake staffing firms are decision-sciences.net and https://icg-staffing.net/. He also employs someone named Celine W***** ([email protected]) who assists with everything. Another contact of his is his Reddit username jirashap (https://www.reddit.com/user/jirashap/). Going through his post history, you will easily be able to tell the type of person he is and how he solicits his business there (which is how he found me).
