Yes got a text message to sign up with them. Said I owed 2995.00 and could pay by credit card. I do not have a bill from hospital yet. Then another text message wanting to know addresses for all my insurance providers. Told them to call the physican and the hospital, since they "had" that info. This is a ripoff scam!

3 months after a visit to the ER, I received a bill from EMBCC for $2,238.00 with no explanation whatsoever.

My name was misspelled and my insurance information was incomplete.

When I called the hospital's billing office, I was told that my balance was zero.

I don't call this a "miscommunication" - @ best it's sloppy accounting practice and at worst it is a S-C-A-M!
