If you happen to be contacted by a scammer, they commonly use online signs forums to offer printers and equipment for sale. The scammer will introduce themselves as Ryan Warner and claim to own a broker trader company in Connecticut called Elm City Exports. They will promise large format printers and digital equipment but will deliver false promises. Once they offer you a super low price printer and ask for a wire transfer of money, they will stop answering your phone calls and avoid any email interaction. If you do manage to speak with Ryan, he may claim to have been sick or had a relative pass away.
