Still trying to sell the 24ft camper for $800

I inquired about the 24ft camper for sale for $800.00 on FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE. The "seller/scammer" emailed me back with additional information about the camper (see actual email below). I decided to check the validity of the individual and ended up here! I am one less POTENTIAL VICTIM, but hopefully I won't be the last.

We were about to purchase a 1991 Chevrolet Four Winds 24ft camper. Everyone is telling us that this is a scam because they want us to purchase FOUR $200 ebay cards. I myself really don't want to believe it. But, they said when they want you to send money thru cards its a scam.

Rip off artist offering something to good to be true.

I had severe doubts about the offer and was determined to get the VIN and Tag number but instead asked for the carfax.pdf. I do not think I will hear back from Elizabeth JONES
date: Feb 2, 2023, 3:39 PM Here is what she said to me: Thank you for your interest in my 1991 24’ Chevy Four Winds 8cyl, gas, 30k miles with 6 sleeping capacity and a brand new refrigerator. Never had or needed any paint or body work done to it. It has a very clean original interior, never been smoked in, no pets and features an outside shower and an Electric water heater upgrade. Has a clean and clear title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. I am selling it at this final price of $800 because my husband died 3 months ago and it brings me bad memories and that’s the reason I want to sell it a.s.a.p. I want to use eBay services for the safety of both of us so if you’re interested in purchasing this camper, I can notify eBay that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

This person put in the classified ad on social media selling an RV for $800. He claimed it with him really good condition but didn't want to keep it as her husband had just died and it brought back bad memories. I figured this was too good to be true as it was. I wrote it out with this person because I had a friend that was scammed for $1,200. I have a lot more photos. He cleaned everything was being done through eBay and asked for several $200 gift cards to be sent to her from eBay and Best buy. I've seen this in quite a lot and I feel bad for people who are not aware
