In April 2021, I was contacted via email about Student Loan Forgiveness. A person named Peter P. stated, I may qualify for this program. He added that his office worked closely with the Department of Education. I trusted his remarks and completed the application over the phone. Upon completion, he sent me the complete application. The application read $249.83 to be automatically withdrawn for 6 months, then $49.00 withdrawn until Loan is completely paid.

6 April, and 6 May withdraws were completed by the instructions.

11 May, I received consolidation paperwork from Fedloan (Department of Education) office. My student loans have been together, so I had a clear understanding of where I stood in my student loans.

I contacted their office amount to be paid back. The Lady informed me, consolidation was the only step taken. No repayment or federal forgiveness has been completed. She instructed me to cancel the automatic payment authorization, due to the instructions were erroneous. The student loan company was ripping me off..

I contacted my Bank ,12 May, as instructed.
