Good experience

Really prompt, supportive customer service, which is such a joy to find with online creative services. Good writing too—we've found the best success with detailed briefs and requests for specific types of references. Easy to use dashboard. I've occasionally requested revisions (which are free!) and have always been happy with the results there too.

A Similar Experience

I too went through all the onboarding processes and provided Education Pathways loads of personal info. In late October of 2022, their recruiter said I'd been approved and that work would begin soon. No work in November. So I sent an email asking when work would arrive. Probably in December, they said. Nothing in December. So, I asked again. Probably by mid-January, they said. Nothing in January. Then by mid-February, they said. It's now February 21 and still nothing. And no one there ever initiates a conversation. Typically they take several days to answer my email questions, but their answers wisp away in the wind.

As far as I know, they had a reorganization and the work was given only to full-time writers. Now they are expanding and freelance writers will also most likely be in need.

Growth along with Work-Life Balance

I like the employer
Education Pathways provided me relocating (including VISA and Travel). Being the the first company in the UK Luxoft helped me very well to get integrated to the new culture. Here there is mix of local and expats working together and respecting each others culture. It provided good career growth at the same time great work-life balance.
I think it's bad about the employer
Working from Home made very less employee regularly coming to office resulting in less human touch.

They are a dishonest writing company and I do not recommend working with them. They have very poor hiring practices and they're extremely inconsiderate. They're dishonest and they will waste your time.

I think they are a scam

I responded to a job ad on Indeed. They requested scans of my educational credentials (degrees), my transcripts, my passport or state I.D. and photos of me holding my passport or state I.D. Stupidly, I provided them with these documents since their website, etc. did look legit. They have since ghosted me and the phone number they provided to contact them is disconnected.

Education Pathways really strikes the balance between high-quality content and ease of use. I've been with them for quite some time, so I can share my two cents on the process:

If you really like working with one writer (e.g. they get your style and tone of voice), you can ask to work with them in the future, so your content requests aren't being randomly assigned. I've frequently worked with regular clients.

As a writer, it's extremely helpful when clients fill out all the content brief details: target audience, style, and samples. It's the best way to make sure that writers create content that fits your style. In general, Education Pathways' briefs are pretty comprehensive and you get plenty of room to explain what your content should be like.

When it comes to support, the team is really helpful and makes sure that both sides (writers and clients) are happy with the process.

P.S. The free revision system works. If you feel like a writer just didn't get what you want from your content, you'll get a revision. If you'd like, you can also get a different writer.

All in all, I can sincerely recommend Education Pathways. And if you're not sure about something, their support team will be happy to help out!

Easy and Convenient Platform

I contacted Education Pathways over the summer to help support my son's academic journey. It has been a relatively straightforward process and the online is platform is super convenient. I like that you can have an introductory chat with a tutor beforehand to decide if there is rapport with your child; and that his/her teaching style will resonate with your and your child's goals.

Tutors are not always punctual

We have experienced a great deal of good with my tutor over the past months, some of the tutors are very good at teaching, but some of them are not punctual enough at their lessons so we keep requesting for other tutors to replace them. It will be great if you can get some of your tutors to respect punctuality.

Great site but one thing needs improvement

Some of the tutors rated as 5 stars are actually not up to that level. these are still excellent instructors, but my son and I had to meet 4 math instructors for instance before we found a really good one. So might worth looking for a more effective way to guide parents. Also fees are really high some times.

I went through the same registration process and my application was approved. If your documents are authentic and match the information on your CV, it is very likely that your application will be approved too. I went through the same verification on Upwork, showing the passport to the manager on the video to get the status "Verified". This company is very flexible and they offered me different verification methods. But my profile was activated 2 weeks after registration was completed. This is one negative point.

I, too had the same experience of being "hired" from an Indeed job application. It took weeks of back and forth asking for my transcript from a college, then my ID, then saying it wasn't clear. Then I started to get suspicious and researched scams from Education Pathways and came across this site.

The manager offered me video verification instead of sending any photos of my documents. I successfully passed the verification and have been working in the company for 4 months as a part-time freelance writer. I sent it, then they asked for a photo of my driver license, all before actual onboarding or any phone interviews. I was stupid enough to send that too.

Today, many world-famous freelance platforms (Upwork, Toptal, PeoplePerHour, etc) have photo and video verification, haven’t they? You can always ask the manager for alternative verification methods, as I did.
