Received a link from business partner who was unsure where it came from. The link was to file our annual report for Wa. state. link was as follows; file.washingtonannualreporting.com for our business. I clicked on link and was taken to site which said it would cost $200 to file. I continued through the verification for renewal seeing our information and then paid by credit card. When I had not received an email confirming the report had been made, I began to feel uncomfortable. The following day I still did not see confirmation, so I called the number given on site, and spoke to a representative who asked for the last 4 digits of my CC to locate the filing payment, which I questioned. Long story shorter with this representative, there were other suspicious questions made the most questionable was when she asked for additional information which was the first 6 numbers of the CC used. I called my bank, and when they looked it up they said it was likely a phishing scam. My CC was cancelled. I show delinquency on my filing report, but my bank did get charged the $200 for Ecorporate filing.
