I bought a car part from a person on a facebook group i am a part of that vets their members. paid $300 for the part, and $50 to ship it 48hour shipping to me. i paid that and then got an email from eco delivery logistic that gave me a tracking number only for their website, but on their website it listed USPS as the carrier. i've included a screenshot of what i get when i put their tracking number in their website. when calling them to get the USPS tracking number, i was told i have to pay $150 for refundable insurance fee to guarentee the safety of my package. told the person that sold this to me that this was BS, so he told me he would then pay me the $150 back if this ended up being a scam. so i paid it. however, after paying it, the shipper never gave me the tracking number. this was all yesterday 9/19/23

today 9/20/23, i called the shipper asking for updates since i no longer trusted him, and he said i have to pay a $500 delivery fee in order to have my package delivered. i said i would not pay anything until my package arrived. he said i would then incure more fees if so. i said i'll pay more fees once package is in hand. i was then told package cant be delivered until the fee is paid. he then dropped the fee down to $249, and said the truck will be at my house at 4:09 and i have to be home to have it delivered to me. i said i would leave work to go be there but not paying the fee. i left work, and didn't see any trucks, and there is only one road that they could have taken had he called his driver to turn around, so this truck shipment never came here, nor did it show up as i checked the camera footage from my house. shipper continuously said i am the only one that is having issues with these fees, and that i will be so happy when i get my package and will use them in the future. told him again i am not paying anything, in fact i'll pay more fees once i get my package, and was told that is not possible and i can't change their process. as an engineer that works in supply chain logistics with a background in IT security, this is all a scam. unfortunately i have known the seller from facebook from our group for years so it is my fault for trusting someone who i thought was a friend, however this shipper is really the problem, and i think they are working together.

hoping to prevent this company for scamming others as it could be very easy to fall trap to this.
