A " Producer for a TV network named "Eat This TV" called Matthew Favacho, emailed me at my business email address saying they wanted to offer my business partner and me a pilot for a cooking show on their network, which has over 68 million views on various major platforms such as Apple TV Roku etc. They asked us to download their Eat This TV app from the Apple App Store, which we did. The app is fake. Then, go to their website, which also has fake B-roll-type footage throughout the website. As well as their YouTube channel, which is nothing but videos of cooking shows that look like they were filmed in 2010. They sent us contact information for a "production kitchen to film the "Pilot". After telling us that they would cover the production cost, they said we would have to cover the cost of food for the show on the pilot, the cost of renting the production kitchen, airfare, hotel, etc. We started asking more questions, and then they both tried to end the call quickly and hung up. I don't know if the goal was to get us to download the app so it could fish sensitive information off our iPhones or if they were trying to get us to call the production kitchen and pay to film the pilot. But this was 100% a scam. Please help!
