An individual on Nextdoor advertised a "locally-based, fully licensed & insured" duct cleaning service in Las Cruces, New Mexico on Oct. 11, 2025 and Jan. 26, 2026. The content of the post and business contact number are identical to a "locally-based, fully licensed & insured" duct cleaning service advertised on Nextdoor repeatedly from March 2025 to November 2025 by a different individual in the Battle Creek, Michigan area. The contact number is associated with "Seven Star HVAC and Duct Cleaning" based in Kearney, Nebraska. I contacted the business phone number in March 2025 and had to block it as well as the phone number of the "associate" who contacted me because they harassed me with repeated calls and texts over a period of two days. They didn't get any money from me. Make sure they don't get any from you, either, by not contacting this scam "business" in the first place.
