Scammer responses to car listing, requesting a vehicle history report from a fake site vehiclecheckpro.org. They mention having funds to purchase car, and want to test drive with their mechanic, on the condition that you send a vehicle history report first. Upon further inspection, the site has hundreds of negative reviews by people claiming they paid for a report and received nothing in exchange, no report, no refund, or customer service. Claims of credit card fraud and theft is what seems to be happening to others. While it’s only losing a few bucks, they steal the credit card numbers.
