Docusign PayPal and SafePay Imposter Emails Reports & Reviews (1)

- Washington, UT, USA • Apr 04, 2025

I received three consecutive emails requesting that I make payments for cryptocurrency that I did not purchase.

The email looks legitimate, because it contains all kinds of information: the amount of purchase, purchase transaction ID, payment IDs, etc. Some of the links in the email claim to be taking you to docusign.com, but when you actually look at most of the links (without following or clicking on them other than to copy the link to see where it would take you if you clicked on it), they are to various docusign.net addresses.

The email claims that a crypto purchase was made using a PayPal account, but the the emails are requesting payment through

Safe Pay whose email address is listed as

[email protected], but the link to actually make the payment is to docusign.net.

The email even gives an address claiming that the purchase was made from an address in Texas. I looked on Google maps and it’s nowhere to be found, it’s definitely not my address either. In fact the address doesn’t exist.

I forwarded these emails to

[email protected]

[email protected]

I couldn’t find where to report to Safe Pay that they were being used fraudulently. The only thing I saw for them is to re report fraud to https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/, which is my next step.
