Tactic: A giant (very large size = 3'x5') QR code was posted in a downtown Dallas, TX public parking lot, which appeared to be how you should access paying for parking in this parking lot.

QR Code: takes you to "member.digitalizze.co" where you enter your credit card information --thinking you are paying for parking-- when you are actually subscribing to a payment of $39.95 each month (as I found out when the $39.95 charge showed up on the credit card statement).

Information on the scammer: the data I have provided on the scammer was obtained by doing a domain search using https://who.is.

Presented in a QR code on a cardboard sign to "pay for parking" at the head of a hiking trail. This was actually a scam to sign up for an entertainment website including music and videos, charging $39.95 per month on my credit card.

I was on a website attempting to order and pay for some pictures. I was using my phone and the site was not displaying properly. I accidentally clicked on a button that said "start" which brought me to a screen to set up an account. It clearly stated this was a 5 day trial and I would not be charged anything. The account set up requested an email address, password, and credit card number. After completing the account set up, I realized the site was not what I thought it was and immediately called the customer service number to cancel. Following that, I called my credit card company and learned that there had been a charge for $39.95 made to my account. After further investigation, it was a recurring monthly charge that had been set up.

I was attempting to subscribe to Apple TV when this website inadvertently intercepted my application to make it appear as I was subscribing to my free trial of Apple TV on March 16,2023. The following day I received an email from digitalizze.co to confirm my trial subscription. It was then that I realized what happened and called their customer service number to cancel my subscription immediately. I was told I would receive a confirmation of cancellation by email within 24 hours. I have yet to receive it AND I logged into my Visa account today and see they have already charged me $56.48 CDN. I did not receive any services and the stated trial period was 5 days,

instead however I was already charged on the 2nd day of my "trial period". I have now had to block my visa account and have yet to receive confirmation of cancellation as well as a credit to my account for the fraudulent charge.

They did a bait and switch ad that made it look like I was signing up for the free trial for the app I had downloaded. Their website doesn't work, phone is off, and they will charge me $40 in 5 days if I can't cancel, which I can't.

Received the following email even though I never subscribed to any such thing. My password has been compromised and I am now making changes to all passwords. I don't know if my credit card has been compromised or not. So far no charges made. I sent a return email to the "support" address insisting on cancellation. There is a whole thread on Reddit about this scam.

While visiting the aquarium in Chattanooga on 2/19/23, I attempted to pay for parking about a block away. The parking sign in the lot indicated a site and QR code that must be utilized to park. When I input the info in it turned out I was registered on the Digitalizze website with no way to cancel. I called a customer service number listed and the recording said they were closed. I called again on Tuesday, 2/20/2023, and was directed to a customer service representative who required the first six and last four numbers of the card used in order to cancel. They then confirmed my email address and I was informed my subscription was now cancelled.

Received by email at my church location. Also received a similar one at home. The real concern is that they provide a username and password. ***The password is the one I currently use on the computer.*** They had to have hacked that.!

That’s the email that they sent me. It didn’t say that it was going to cost after on their site and etc.

I tried to cancel this on their website but I can’t get through. I don’t know what to do and how to cancel this other wise they are going to keep getting that $39.00 out of my card. Can you guys help me. Thank you. I even contacted my credit card but they can’t cancel or block them. I tried to email them but no response. I tried to get on their site but it didn’t work. Sent email to me to sign up for their service. I was trying to download concert tickets from Ticketmaster and this website showed up as if I needed to go there to get my tickets. I used my credit card to sign up so I could get my free trial

made to seem as if it were another company with free trial so i gave card # then realized it was wrong company and when i tried to cancel the free trial i found i can not reach them so no way to cancel the agreement . now im stuck with contract to pay a monthly amount and they have my card #

I was trying to re-login to Chromecast and somehow got redirected to this site where it asked me a or a credit card but said no money would be charged. I looked at my bank statement and had 2 pending charges. One for $1.00 and one for $1.95. I then received an email stating I signed up for a digital service and would be charged monthly for $39.95 unless I canceled. I tried to call the Support number and received a Verizon error message one time, a recording one time telling me they were closed and to go to ab site for help and then no one answered the call at all. I also emailed asking them to cancel immediately. I finally contacted my bank to have them stop payment and reported them.

The scammer said I would have a free trial of a streaming service. I thought I could see some things that were free to stream and that they would be supported by ad revenue. I thought it would be fun to browse some things. They never said they would charge me automatically. They said they only needed my credit card information for verification to determine that I wasn't a robot. I was stupid and believed them.

I just hope you can do something to stop them before they victimize other people.

Loves gas station discount offer had a QR code that led to registration. When I completed it I was billed $39.95 on my citi credit card. It was automatic for a “entertainment service” named Digitizze. I disputed with Citicard. I called “Digitizze” and a person named Nyx cancelled the $39.95 deposit payment which will be cancelled “within a few days”. I still have not heard from Loves Gas and think many people may not follow up. The billing indicates that they will charge $39.95/ month. Digitizze aka urconz.net (Citicard found that name) is in Liverpool UK.

This came up as a pop up for a new app, thinking it was for the new app I entered my information. The site claimed it I would not be charged and the payment info was to be used for country of origin.

I was immediately charged about $39.

Had to call the number on their site, sat on hold for about five minutes, asked to cancel my "subscription" and have money returned. Operator claimed it was only a pending charge and it would not go through.

Ten minutes after the phone call another charge for a smaller amount went through now amounting to a pending charge of $41.90. According to the website, they are located in Liverpool, England.
