They contacted me by phone on June 16, 2023 wanting to publish my 8 books of poems and told me I need to make decision right then and there. I am an 81 year old veteran, desperate to see my book published before I die, so I paid them $749. There were a few more calls trying to get me to purchase more but I declined. I sent the manuscript for publication on August 15, 2023 and haven't heard from them since the week before that. I sent a letter asking for update or resolution to the situation on October 6, 2023. There have been no response.

They have not delivered on what was promised. When confronted they give me the runaround. My book was supposed to be featured at a book fair but my book never made it. I just happened to find this out and they tried to lie their way out of it, including sending me photoshopped picutres of my book at the fair. They finally admitted my book never arrived and said they would give me a refund. That was a month ago and now they're ignoring me. They promised 100% royalties and I haven't seen a dime.

I have a whole list of other clients treated the same way.

Got a Call today from a guy from Diamond . My book was published in 2007 and since 2008 has been dead on the net and I let sleeping dogs lie. I had zero sales. So today in May of 2022 i get this call and amazingly enough the guy tells me that scouts unearthed my jewel of a book from 15 years back and it was time to republish this work of the century. During the conversation I could smell a rat and I go "How much will this cost me?" and they go "FREE" . Then when i dig further and they say they will need me to share the cost for this and that and I go " I thought it was free". Then he goes actually it is a shared partnership. I start to back out , not like i was ever going to join in anyway. To listen to this guy, you would think the book biz was in a tight spot and authors were rare. So I give him the business and the guy sees i am going out and starts to use psychology on me. Dropping from polite to undiplomatic mode, still the guy tries to grab on and still sell with the usual gimmicks now. I just drop the phone down and end the call.

Hi Tim! Just saw your post here and I'm quite curious on your experience with Diamond Media. We just got their service 5 or 6 months ago and the transaction went well. We got the value of the money we paid for.

Last Summer I was contacted by a man named Nathan, asking if I'd want to have my book republished and promoted by them-Diamond Media Press. He stated several times they would do everything, including further editing of the book to republish. I accepted the offer, and sent the money, I soon learned this was a mistake. After they received the money, it was a long time before I heard anything further from them. When they did contact me, the story had changed-now it was going to cost between $3,000-$5,000.00 to re-edit the book, or I could do it myself. I asked for a refund-but was refused, and sent to Sophie Smith to get the book published. I edited the book myself-and sent it to them for final print-ready manuscript-they corrupted it both times-with missing texts in sections of paragraphs missing. They've supposedly finally published it, and it's on Amazon-but I was not given a final manuscript to actually look at myself-and don't know if it's corrupted as well. I've asked for an author's copy 3 times-to actually see what the interior looks like-but received none. I've called several times, but received nothing from them. These people are not to be trusted.

Have since given Diamond Media Press 6574.00. At first, John Adams got me to sign with them for 1899.00. After the initial evaluation, I was told the book needed to be re-edited by a professional editor. It's on going as we speak. I am working with Sophie Smith, who is working on the book cover. I am in awe of now seeing all of this. Is this for real! Am I really being scammed! They won't edit my book! They are taking a very long time in getting it's done. Please, someone out there, tell me what to do. I am shaking reading all of this. Why didn't I see this earlier.

They scammed my aunt and when we did an investigation they are actually from the Philippines! That’s why they have a crappy job on my aunt’s book plus you actually can see that they’re not really doing anything on the book they just change the cover and publish the book right away. The nerves of this vultures! That Sophie Smith seems not to know what she’s doing or was that really her name I don’t know! But its positive they are from the Philippines and they don’t have that much professionals working with them or is there any I don’t know!

Yes they are from the Philippines

Please take this down. I want this deleted.

This company is full of scammers. They took my dad's $850 without having a signed contract. John Adams gave the following excuses: 1) If we ask this amount back, he would lose his job. 2) His two managers got covid-19 virus. 3) His dad died of covid-19 virus. Finally, he called me from a UK phone number and my T mobile number got charged. I called T module and reported a fraud. I can't get John Adams' response ever since. Jessica Dwight is helping John Adams as well. From bbb.org website, I have seen two more scam reports. One of them lost $1700 = 2*$850. Interesting. I am filing a scam report on this company. Hope I can stop them from scamming more innocent people.

They are from the Philippines and not on the address you post! Try searching them! They are on that place called Cebu City Philippines! They scammed my aunt and did a crappy job on her book! They took advantage of her age she’s 80 and we tried to track down every email they sent to my aunt and we did reviewed the book they said they format its like a job done by grade schooler well grade schooler has better job than theirs! Try searching them from Business Bureau! Lots of complains you will see! They not from the United States they are from the Philippines! Google them!

Received a call from Diamond Media Press claiming to want to invest in my book business. They obviously saw it posted on Amazon and wanted me to republish with them instead of my publisher. I told them I was not interested. I did not wait to see if they asked for money.

I was first called by John Adams who introduced himself as part of an old 50 year company! I found out from ScamPulse.com that it first registered on Dec12th 2019.He talked about taking the burden off writers and getting entrepreneurs to be interested in one book He chose Two at the Crossroads I had to pay republishing price upfront and gave $700US( Can $917 on Feb08/21later on March 08 $500US and march 28th$500 special deal, he got with Publishers House etc.to promote book. I had held back on this but he said it was the only time it was going at this price. I spent CAN $2214.35 all together. Out of it I got nothing! I double-checked the agreement and it said you could not get out of it after 5days!! I thought they were evaluating it for printing. Their evaluation was poor and revealed no real understanding. Then, they wanted to charge for professionals to set it up.I said I liked the set up as it was done and I would rewrite it without Canadian spelling.

I did that in MSword and got back a poor PDF with pages missing.I sent it back as 'No approved"It returned almost the same with a whole chapter unnumbered and missing! Then I knew they had no idea of what they were doing. I wrote to them a few times and I noted how false the advertising on their site was.

they say " We are a team of writers, reviewers, and marketing staff who have been doing the craft for decades. Not to mention the talented copyeditors, illustrators, and web designers who are committed and always perform better every day. Since day one, our company’s goal for our authors is for them to be 100% satisfied not just with the book we produce but also with their publishing experience as we reach their dream of becoming successful in the industry.":

Saying this is not doing it. This is not true because they did not know their job well nor did they seek to give 100% satisfaction. they put protecting themselves first and getting money. I was wary about paying but they insited they had to have money for printing etc first. I will try to find the poor PDF they sent. They have offered no recompense to me.
