The person said they were a debt collector trying to collect a debt from fingerhut. I have never in my life ordered anything from fingerhut. So far there is nothing actually on my credit report so i do not believe they have my info. I believe they were hoping to obtain my info

Process service dispatch scam, routed me to phone number 855-923-3386, tried to get me to pay 4000 with a debit card over the phone, for a debt I don't owe. th call started from a landline number 386-343-5263.

Received a call threatening legal action on a supposed credit card debt. Address was incorrect and the debt originated in 2012. Told the man I had no such debt in my awareness, nor on my credit report. Was informed that he would take note and that they would have no options other than to proceed with litigation before hanging up on me. I called back and said he probably needed my address, to which he claimed he already had it, rattled it off, and when I went to verify the information he had provided, I was instructed to "clean out my ears, stop wasting his time" etc. After that, I told him I appreciated neither his attitude or scare tactics, to which I was taunted about being scared, mocked, then hung up on again.
