I received this text message and was interested at first but then I was like what if it’s a scam so I googled it and it is indeed a scam…. This is the text message I got….
Job Offer! WALGREENS is starting a research survey in your area which Includes CVS stores, WALMART stores, KROGER stores, BEST BUY, and others. This project takes weekly, Compensation is $450 on each assignment. Every task requires just 20 minutes.

Sent a cashiers check for 1670.35 wanted me to be secret shopper. Deposit check and buy 2 500.00 American Express cards and 2 100.00 cards. Attached is the letter that came with the check.. I have copy’s of the check and postal envelope. This guy so called Jerry Patrick communicated via text to my cell phone. His number is 937-694-8962. Hope you put a stop to this scammer. Had my bank look at check and they told me it was fake. They took check from me. But I do have a copy of the check.
