I called them one day and spoke with them. During this call I was advised of civil complaint that was about be filed against me for an unpaid debt over four years old. I was given a case number but little information as to what the exact creditor was. Initial representative sent me a DocuSign document to a junk email account that I use that looked like I owed them 2,900 dollars. My first red flag was this collection agency using a gmail account to do business.
I insisted on more details, and I was transferred to Nickolas, a Sr. Legal advisor there. He was rather insistent that we handle this now or they were going to file a complaint and I world have to go to court. He stated that he had my driver's license picture and signature on a document. My cell phone was dying and wanted a call back number to call when I could plug my device in.
