Scam— BEWARE!!!!
The scammer’s email address is [email protected], someone pretending to be from EY Parthenon, and has already been reported by another person as being a scam. I was “approved” by the scammer for a “business” credit card so that I could purchase office equipment (computer, software). I was instructed to purchase a string of Vanilla gift cards to test the “business” credit card. I have used none of those Vanilla cards. I was told that the company (EY Parthenon) would pay my credit card balance, but of course, that never happened, and my phony business card balance has now been sent to collections, because these clever rats have managed to trick even the FTC into thinking they are legitimate. Believe me, NONE of this is legitimate. First, letting me have a business credit card is highly suspicious, as I would have been denied immediately if I had applied for an individual credit card. Secondly, if it was legitimate, they would have paid off my balance as promised. And third, most legitimate companies would not have hired me on the spot, due to my age and the fact that I have not had an office job since 2007!
I am so angry that so many scammers are getting away with preying on people who are just in need of legitimate work at home opportunities! And that so many scammers are going to get away with ripping people off!
