Their link of the internet looked like the official Colorado Unemployment site. I clicked it and it said you needed a credit report to apply for UI. I haven't applied for UI for 40 years, so I didn't know. I clicked it and they gave me a credit report and charged me $9.95. They said they'd send a confirmation email. The email didn't come right away so I forgot about it until I found a $39.94 charge on my credit card statement--RECURRING!! I went back to the website to cancel and of course you had to call them and they still tried to get me for the $9.95 a month--finally I believe I canceled. When I went back and read the email--in the fine print--it said the $9.95 was an introductory price and if I didn't cancel I'd be charged the $39.94 a month. I believe this is a type of reverse marketing that is illegal--or at least it should be.

Be ware of websites that LOOK LIKE THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE YOU ARE TRYING TO CONTACT!! The official one is often far below even if you put the correct one in your browser.
