I ordered handmade knitted cat rugs for Christmas gifts. When I received the rugs… they were NOT knitted… but cheap rugs…costing me $33 a piece. The discrepancy is false product advertisement on the website (craftfolk.com). I contacted the Hong Kong business via email to return the product but instead was offered a refund of $22.05 which I decided to take the offer instead of mailing it back to Hong Kong. Who knows if it will get there. Photo is over 5MB can’t attach it to my complaint about CRAFT FOLK. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Item was a bee hotel said to be handmade by a craftsman in Brevard, NC. The website states that glass-smooth chambers are critical for a bee's safety. The chambers were rough and splintered. It will require careful sanding to make it usable. When I complained to Craftfolk, they told me I could return it to an address in Hong Kong! Their website gives a different address in China. For something handmade in NC, this doesn’t sound right. I have written them several times, but I’m not going to go to the expense of sending it back. I have taken this up with my credit card company.

They said it was hand made and hand tuned in Sedona, Arizona by a retired music teacher. Before package was shipped, I stated I didn't want it but rec'd it anyway. It was not product they stated it was. It looked like a trinket you could buy at Walmart or target. Link is below

Google Discover ad - Elderly lady selling the last of her handcrafted bags, because of her health. The picture of HAND QUILTED duffel bag. What was received? Cheaply made bag. Attempts to return to an unknown address, no zip, just HONG KONG at the bottom. Filed a CC dispute. I wish I had gone to trust pilot - SCAM!!!!

Responded to an article about a woman making these from home in US. The package came and the items are NOT handmade and were made in Hong Kong. I looked online (like Reddit) and several people have been scammed.

Site listed Martha Hensley from Blue Ridge Mountains, N Carolina as the artisan, who was retiring and selling her remaining stock. This tote is very very small, not well made and shipped from China. I fell for the con. Shame on me.
