Items advertised as hand made from different crafters is the US. Advertised as hand sewn with appliqué. Items received were cheap and only an image printed on the item. No part of the items were seen.

The website describes artisans (mostly senior citizens) selling their crafts/arts. They entice victims with emotional stories about the (made up) artist like "after years of crafting Ms --- is retiring and selling her last supply of her best seller - only 5 left!" I ordered a hand woven rug made with high quality wool. I received a cheap print on a rubber mat, without a receipt or return label. I emailed Craft-Folk to request a label, they wanted me to ship the product to china at my own expense.

I then realized this is a scam, and (belated) research online confirmed this. I contacted my bank to reverse the charges and send me a new card. It's not the $49 that scares me, it's the personal information they collect.

Website makes it look like you’re buying a limited Hand made Hippie Bag from Sausalito, California USA and it is just a scam!!!! I reported this company to my Credit Card Company. My charges are being disputed now! I ordered 3 of them!

The ad led to a "craft" website, connected to Shop, making it look legit, but ALL of the product images stories and reviews are AI generated. I managed to dispute the charge with my CC before they could complete the scam.

I ordered a custom made Martha's Sheep Tote that was supposed to be quilted, appliqued, with a maker's tag and the maker's initials for $59.00. None of this was received - just a printed copy of the original on cheap material that could have been ordered for $10.00 at most.

Craft Folk purports to be a site for hand crafted items by artisans. It is actually cheaply made products from China. There is no way of contacting them or returning a product. The item I ordered is cute but not hand made by a tinsmith in Vermont that will last for years. It is all false advertising.

I purchased a product that I thought was going to be good quality. It arrived in terrible condition, damp, moldy and in a crushed box. I contacted the company, they said I needed to return the product to Hong Kong and pay the $35 postage. The product was not what it advertised. The rough quality would have killed any bees looking to make a home in it. They used false advertising. Terrible company.
