I just got the text for a job from Cordlife Group Limited. I did some research and surprised at all the nice reviews I see on Indeed's client reviews. Something still seemed fishy even after I asked about if the position was Part-Time. reply : Yes and Remote. I just forwarded the complete text to my email and here is a copy :

Hello, My name is Eva Medworth from Cordlife Group Limited, and I am contacting you in regards to your resume being approved on ZipRecruiter for the Customer Service Representative/Data Entry Clerk/Project Manager position we have within our company, with a pay rate of $33 per hour. If you are still interested, kindly contact Calloway Lillian via Wire Secure Messenger. Download the Wire Secure Messenger app from Google Play or the App Store (https://wire.com/en/download/). Add Calloway Lillian, search her username/meeting ID (@callowaylillian) , and send a message for the interview process. Your interview code is C-6225.

I am so glad that I did a search for " is Cordlife Group Limited job legitimate?" search and came across this website and saw even more such postings on this scam. Today is Monday 3-21-2022 and I hope this helps others from falling for this scam.

It appears the these scammers are trolling people who have their resume's up for a job. I am also going to keep an eye out for identity theft...

I received a text from a St Louis area code that read "Hello good day. I believe this is (my name)"? To which I responded in the affirmative. The number then answered me back with "I am Ms Bridget C Lane from the company Cordlife Group Limited, I'm contacting you in respect of your resume posted online for the available Customer Service, Receptionist, Data Entry, Management, Administrative Assistant position in the company. Kindly reply back if you are available for the next step?" I looked up the company, and saw that they appear to have no operations in the US, so I texted back to ask in what city was the position? I was then asked to install Zoom on my phone, sign up, and let her know when I was done. I did not respond after that.

I received a SMS, where the person already knew my name, when I responded to the email, she introduced herself has Ms. Shirley L. Hamby from Cordlife Group Limited. The sms read "I'm contacting you in respect of your resume posted online for the available Customer Service, Receptionist, Data entry Administrative Assistant position in the company. Kindly reply back if you are available for the next step?"
Honestly I had applied to so many companies by now, I couldnt remember the company, So i wrote back saying I was interested and what the next step would be and where the job location would be at.
They asked me to install Telegram messenger and they would contact via that. Also that the job was strictly online with flexible hours, pay rates were high as $25 and training paid for $12 etc etc.
I searched online for Cordlife Group Scam, and it led me to here, so I replied to them asking for the job details for the position.
THAT IS WHEN THEY STOPPED RESPONDING! SCAM! I REPORTED THE NUMBER TO SCAM LIST.

Need to be very careful these days! Easy to fall into such traps where the pay rate is lucrative.

Received a text from an unknown number, "Hello good day... I believe this is [my name]?".

I asked who it was, and they responded, "I'm Ms. Lillian Calloway from the company Cordlife Group Limited; I'm contacting you in respect of your resume posted online for [Administrative Assistant Job]. Kindly reply back if you are available for the next step?"

I had a bad feeling and responded that I was currently unavailable, and got one last message asking me to download a third party messaging app to continue. Knew it seemed fishy, came to ScamPulse.com to report and saw two similar reports in other states.

First contact was through texting about an employment opportunity. The text was as follows:

I'm Ms Lauren Greene from the company Cordlife Group Limited...I’m contacting you in respect of your resume posted online on Ziprecruiter.com which was selected for the available position in the company. Kindly reply back if you are available for the next step?

I never replied back. The following day, I got the following email:

Dear Applicant.

The Hiring Department of Cordlife Group Limited. Company Services and our recruitment team reviewed your resume Via ziprecruiter.com, We are pleased with your qualifications and would like to have an online interview to discuss more on the position offered. You are required to set up a Google hangout Account and download the app from the app store i.e. for smartphone and for PC, you can work as a Full-Time or Part-Time Employee, the Pay is $30 per hour training is $25 per hour.

After this process, you are to add Ms. Janeshia Cook on google hangouts on ([email protected]) add to your buddy list Asap for the job briefing and comprehensive details. She would be online waiting to talk to you ASAP. Your verification code is CR-5709BI; this would serve as your identification number throughout the online hiring process. Your timely response matters a lot.
