I found a basset hound breeder, the website is pretty convincing. I emailed about one of the puppies, they sent an email back with lots of pictures and asked some questions, like where I live, if I have a vet, standard adoption questions. They emailed back asking me to provide my address so they can fly the puppy to me for free, after I sent them the $900 via cash app or Venmo. I asked if we could come pick the puppy up and they said yes but we'd have to pay $400 deposit to hold the puppy. When I asked more questions about their exact address (they just told me they were in Saint Louis Park MN) they just kept saying they can't hold the puppy with out a deposit.
