I tried to buy a shipping container on FB Marketplace and placed an order on 7/29/2023. As of 7/31/2023, there was no receipt or order number. The man on the phone sounded like he was from India, not Louisville, Kentucky. They did get my name, phone number, and email address. I paid half up front of $1,400 and he said he would give me a discount if I paid $2,500 up front. I said no but agreed to pay half up front and the other half after it was delivered on 7/29/2023. On 7/31/2023, I asked for a refund and he hung up the phone. I called back and no response. I paid via Zelle.
