company said free product, just pay shipping of 7.95. But afterwards charged my cc for 149.49 fee and 89.98 "ongoing" monthly fee. cc company would not refund any money as I had an "ongoing" business relationship.

There was an offer on social media for a teeth whitening procuct - bleach white. I approved the charge for the shipping of this "free" product.

Yesterday I got a package in the mail from Confident Bright Smile containing 2 syringes of whitener with a charge of $89.95. The invoice implied that I was paying for a subscription. I called them to cancel this "subscription" and told them that I had already contacted the credit card company and they will dispute the charge. When I called to cancel all they wanted to do was explain the subscription. I told them unles they want to explain my reimbursment we had nothing to discuss. This is simply a scam. I would not have agreeded to reccurring charges because I am living on Social Security.

I could just say REPEAT of the 15 complaints listed. Except mine was an offer through costco so i somehow trusted it better. I did not receive a confirmation email with any terms. Never saw the 14 day limit. Two weeks after the 14 day charge of 149.95, they sent me my first "subscription order" which was going to be monthy of 89.95. This coincided with credit card bill. There were NO INSERTS telling you the terms- just the shipping charge. There was NO EMAIL reminder that you were now subscribed. When i called, he spieled off the company terms. i asked about returning all but at least the monthly mailing since i had not used it. He said no because it was unsealed!! They sent the two syringes unsealed in a plastic bag- a nice touch. So i said cance the subscrtiption. He resonded with, We will delay, delay, delay delay, and i stopped him and said i did not say delay. i said cancel. It took another time for him to stop the delay repetition. Another nice touch. Then i told him i wanted a cancellation with a number and an email confirming. I got it. I feel really stupid not to have seen the terms, but seems like this is a true scam hiding them from the consumer.
