@Gideon_Harrison01 And from emails; [email protected] , [email protected].

Found this job on linked in. They contact you through email first
“Thanks for your response, the interview will be conducted online via “Skype or Telegram”.. So please which of these Apps, do you have to get started?

Do you have Skype or TELEGRAM Account?

Then they send you a bunch of standard interview questions.
They also sent me a check as posted below .

If you go to the actual company website it tells you they only correspond through email and will never do any of this weird paycheck information. If it’s legit they will email you from CNOinc or BankersLife.com. Good luck on your work search’s guys.

Here is the message in its entirety. I have not responded, but I have blocked the number. I’m disgusted at how many of these I get EACH day…..

I'm to old to fall for this bull [censored]. Wow nice try.

I have received a personal check in the mail. The letter itself the words was either spaced out or missing.Robert Marsh wanted me to send him a text letting him know that I received the check give him the information off the check I guess to verify it. And it's for participating in a Aquafina campaign.

@HIRIINGDESK091. I went through a series of questions. Today, 10/20/21 they sent me an email saying it was my employment letter. It was watermarked, with an option of removing it ( which was strange). Then, at the bottom of the letter, I saw words that were cut off. I was able to copy and paste them into a search. Below are pictures of everything I just mentioned. This is a scam.

I received a text message telling me they had seen my resume on Indeed.com and they wanted me to interview for the position. I've had this text happen several times before so I was skeptical. When I looked up the CNO Financial Group they WERE offering jobs but they weren't remote and were located in a completely different state than me. There was also no Susan Austin associated with the company. Sorry if I posted the pictures backward.

Caught too. I can't believe that I fell for this one. I honestly thought I wasn't being scammed and I was getting my "reimbursement". I wish some people weren't so darn evil that they make vulnerable victims suffer for their money laundering.

They contacted me saying that I applied for a job on career builders website. It was a job from home, totally convenient for me at this point that I don’t have a job and I need to homeschool my son. Sadly, It was a total scam.
They got some of my information, like my name, address and they had me signed an employment letter.
They texted me via google hangout and they sent me my assignments via email.
Today I got a call and I automatically felt that the person was an scammer. Barely spoke English and it was fishy.
They told me to report myself tomorrow morning and that they will send me a check for the last 2 days of training. Why to pay me if I’m still in training? High pay for high school assignments, didn’t teach me or trained me on anything.

+3

They trained you on how they operate. On YouTube you can watch how someone can out scam the scammers.

They contacted me for a job “from home” they gave 2 days of training which was pretty much me writing some stuff. They asked me for general information like my name, address, phone number and the name of my bank. They requested an offer letter to be signed by me and mailed it back. Today I got a called and automatically I assumed it was an scam because he sounded fishy with a broken English. He was sending me my assignments via email and google handout I think he realized I noticed it was a scam so he stoped texting me.

The accounting department only releases funds via direct deposit, cashier check, transfer to cashapp account if you have one.
I have few questions for you and it is very important how you attempt them and your fast response is also needed, is that okay?

I received a by someone "believing" my name is _________. I respond Yes. He said he was "Micheal Stone one of the recruiting manager of the firm (CNO FINANCIAL GROUPS). Your resume was seen via CAREER BUILDER, We feel you would be an asset to this company and its growth. Kindly reply back with YES if interested to hear more about the Opening position."

There were several positions available apparently all at $50/hr $25 training, and this was a strictly work from home job. He asked if I will have any issues working from home. I respond "Not at all".

Interview was to be through the app of my choice, and I chose Hangout, and then he said I needed to forward my Hangout e-mail address right away in order to proceed with job briefings and interview with hiring manager. I wasn't home so I said I had to do it later. He was ok with that, and said it can be done anytime anywhere. He said I "can proceed right away, Understood?"

After reading about other similar experiences online, I told him my hangout email address is [email protected].

He responded and said "good you are needed to logon and accept some invite...". I stopped caring at this point.

I had a similar experience with a Pamela Young (hiring manager, Isabella +1 (314) 500-5349 and Brian. Did the fake hangouts interview and sent a bs check to print and deposit.

I told them my hangout address was [email protected]. Thanks for sharing your story...saved me a lot of frustration.

Google hangouts

Ok, Now I am worried. I just got a check from them. Is this a scam? I put it through my bank and I have no money in my account.

This business is listed on CareerBuilder, LinkedIN, and Indeed.com as a "banking or financial services" business. Jobs include Admin Assistant, Receptionist, and Customer Service Representative, among others --- all professing to be "work from home". The individuals contacting you will only do so from a text-only phone that cannot receive calls, then ask for your Skype or Google Hangout Address for a briefing and interview. Their SKype user is live:jf3395590. THIS IS A SCAM. They use names such as "Donald Miles" or "Eric Johnson" but they are all Indian and Pakistani and barely speak English! Syntax is egregiously off, and messages are suspicious and do not adhere to typical US English grammatical standards or norms. THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU AND THEY WILL UPLOAD SPAM TO YOUR COMPUTER AS PART OF THEIR "Work From Home Software".

The scammer sent me a text on Sunday, March 8th, at 6:55 pm, stating that he was Mr. Mark Anderson from (CNO Financial Group) contacting me regarding my application posted on West Virginia Health Care resumes) Do I still need a job? I did respond confirming that I did still need a job. Right after I received the text an email was sent to me as Resume Approved. I sent a text back to Mr. Anderson indicating that I did receive an email regarding setting up an interview with Mrs. Clara Coleman. He set the interview up by text for the next day, Monday, March 9th, before 8 am. I did think that was kind of odd for someone to send a text/email regarding a job interview. However, I did as the email instructed, set up an hangout gmail screen with the email [email protected] for conducting the interview. I really thought that maybe it could be legit until the person asked me to purchase a teamviewer or Steam Wallet Gift Card for a conference video call to meet the company board of directors. Needless to say that I had already given he/she my full name, address, name of my bank, phone number, and email address. However, I did not disclose my Social Security number or account numbers. Once I realized it was scam, I did let them know I was going to contact the ScamPulse.com to verify that they were a legit company. The person was really trying to gain my trust but I was not buying it. If NO was not enough, I received a check today, Tuesday, March 10th, in the amount of $3550.50 with a note in the envelope from Mrs. Ellen Morgan from the payment department. I could only attach one file but I do have copies of our discussion from the Hangout screen, copy of the check/note, and text conversation. The SCAMS are real!
