I called 844-285-3661 thinking it was Norton to inquire about a credit card charge. There was no company identification, only customer service with a choice for billing or technical. I asked if this was Norton. Jennifer said yes. She told me to type logmeinresue. She allegedly ran a check. She said the refund policy was 30 days and the charges were from 2/15 & 2/16. She transferred me to Paul Harris who told me 2 individuals made an unauthorized purchase of $423.96 and purchased 5-6 Norton packages under my husband's account. He said my husband only had protection on the computer not identity protection and that our identity had been compromised. He said he would close the Norton accounts permanently and open a new account. He would give us 3 years plus one protection for $423.93 for the computer and our personal identity. Believing that what he said was true, I gave him access to our computer and he provided a document on the computer which I inserted my name, address and credit card number. Then he transferred me to Gary in Technical. Allegedly he was cleaning out the old and installing Norton. After speaking with AARP Fraud Line, Staples and the real Norton rep. who said our Norton protection was still valid until March 2025 and that Cleveland could not cancel them, I discovered this was a deceptive fraudulent scam. I called our bank's fraud department to report and dispute the charge. I called Cleveland Technical and spoke with Paul. I told him I wanted to cancel what I purchased because we have protection through Norton. He said I couldn't and refused to issue a refund on our credit card. Originally he told me the period to dispute charges was 30 days. I asked him to send me the contract he allegedly sent me 4/24 that we couldn't find. He said my husband probably deleted it. He emailed me an invoice and said I'd have to call Gary in Technical. I was transferred, someone said Gary would call me back in 10 minutes. He never did; however, I was advised by the bank not to have further contact with this company. I went online to ScamPulse and found 8 similar customer complaints. I called the Ohio Attorney General's Office and the Ohio Better Business Bureau who said they had no accreditation and asked me to file a formal complaint. Each had 4 similar complaints from customers like me. I am hoping our bank will investigate, reverse the charge and not pay them since they lied about our account being compromised to sell their product and are employing deceptive business practice to multiple customers regularly.

I was erroneously transferred to Cleveland Tech Solutions when trying to contact my real provider Avast. the person helped me then said I would get a 5 Year Avast membership and all other charges from Avast would be stopped. two weeks later I got a proposed Charge from Avast. when I called they discovered I had been spammed and that Avast NEVER sells 5 year plans, only 1 year and 3 year. They advised me to call my bank as I was charged $433.92 and got NOTHING. I did, the bamk contested it and I was refunded. BAD Company.

I called because I was having scammers on my computer and I guess someone at Norton connect or rerouted me to a person named Peter and he said I needed to get a technician to rake off the information that was on my computer, so I signed up for a 3 year for 317.00 and every time I call I don’t get nobody on the other end.

The told me they were Norton and have on their invoice Symantec Norton security with full support included. They told me I paid $399.99 for 3 years and 4 months of Norton 360 with life lock including tech support. I keep getting text messages and emails from Norton telling me that my subscription expires in 20 days. I told them I have the Norton 3 year and 4 month premium plan for 3 years and 4 months. Norton told me I was scammed. And that that do not even offer anything like that. When I called Cleveland Tech Solution back they told me only call the number they put on my computer. And that the other number I used to call Norton is just a scam because they are Norton.

I signed 5 year contract with Cleveland Tech Solutions for which I paid $350 and two days after I called them and I stay on hold for 30-40 minutes and then transfer into recorded message. I believed I was scam by these smooth talking customer service and tech support people. They installed McAfee Security software which is the lowest level of security (internet security) but my invoice says it is Total Protection security product which is false. I verified with McAfee company and they confirmed that the anti-virus software was internet security product which has a minimum level of protection. These people take advantage of your lake of knowledge in these area and sell you inferior product. These people should not be trusted. If you hand over your computer and don't know what they will do with your personal information on your computer. This is definitely a scam! Stay away from this company.

I signed up for a 5 year contract with Cleaveland Tech thinking it was legit and paid IN FULL $259.00, on Dec2 2019. I have the paid in full statement information saying it was for 5 years Paid IN FULL $259.00. Was called today June 6th saying they had taken out of my account $259.00 for my renewal I tried to call the company to talk with a representative but after waiting 35 minutes on hold, I was finally told to leave a message. I did but was cut off before I had told my phone number. The contract was for 5 years and they have taken out of my checking account before one year has gone by and without my permission. If my call is not returned promtly I I will contact my lawyer! Linda York

I too was scammed by this company, a pop-up for tech support for Microsoft soon "took over" my two computers. Said they would repair them by tomorrow for $638.00 Started at $1000 for all our computers (3) for a lifetime so put it on our credit card.
They never fixed it at all in fact made it worse! I had to take them both to a REAL computer repair and they had to clean everything off and reinstall all my software down to the operating system! And to make matters worse my credit card would not come to bat
when I opened a dispute and have not received any money back! What a scam!

I was victim to a tech scam. I supposedly called Microsoft's customer service number was connected to this company, they fixed my PC and I paid 300.00. Later I found an actual number for Microsoft that says they have no affiliation with this company. While the problem has been solved, I fear what they will do with the information I provided to them and to my computer since I gave them access to it.
