I purchased goats from a breeder that seemed reputable, but when the day came for the delivery, they had a “family emergency” and told me they handed the goats to this third-party delivery called Cleveland Express Shipping.

The company continued to request money for different things. They wanted $349.99 for the insulated container to ship the goats in. They wanted $599.99 to cover the insurance for the delivery. They wanted $419.97 to cover the identification tags that they said the animals were missing. Then they wanted $800 to cover vaccination records that they said the animals were missing.

When we couldn’t afford to pay the continuous requests, they told us that we were being charged with animal abandonment and that the animals were turned over to the state and that we would be contacted by authorities. When I tried to contact the seller, they said they could not help.
