****** ***** and I believe Peter Khandjian DBA City National Home called me while I was shopping for refinancing and equity. I was sent Budget form to fill and contract details of new mortgage payment with a promise of receiving equity. The contract contains a watermark with their logo (CNHB). I have done refinancing before and the process seem legit. After overnight the signed contract and $1,500 for processing and appraisal fee to 14622 Ventura Blvd #444 Sherman Oaks 91403 on 5/13/2026. ****** ***** contacted and confirmed receipt on 5/15/2026 and assured me that he was going to schedule appraisal so I can close he said he ad already spoke with my current lender and I was fine. After repeatedly calling with no answer on 6/1/2026 he answered me when I called from another number and immediately hung up on me. No more contact since then. Beware of this SCAM. I have reported locally and Federal.
