Type of a scam: Bank/Credit Card Company Imposter Scam

In October, 2021 my husband got a promotion email from Citi bank. (see attach). They offered 60000 American airlines miles after completing all requirements. He did it. Then he asked Citi bank about promotion and the respond was that he didn't meet requirements. Because bank changed it (but we downloaded and saved original one) and they didn't want to do anything because they don't want to see documents which we have. And they don'r want to give us email address where we can sent it. Scam.

I receive a call from this number almost daily. I have answered it before and there were individuals talking in the background. I was hung up on five seconds after answering.

RECEIVED PHONE CALL FROM RICHARD MAPLE, STATING THAT I WAS BEING SUED BY CITI BANK CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THAT I HAD TO PAY $722.00 IN ORDER TO CLEAR THE MATTER. I TOLD HIM I DID NOT HAVE IT, THEN HE TOLD ME HE WOULD HAVE TO TELL THEM THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO TAKE ME TO COURT AND THEN IT WOULD COST ME $5000.00. I ASK IF THEY WOULD TAKE PAYMENTS AND HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO CHECK ON THAT HE CAME BACK AND SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY $150.00 RIGHT THEN AND $150.00 A MONTH. I TOLD HIME I JUST CAN NOT DO THAT. HE SAID WELL DON'T YOU HAVE CREDIT CARD AND I SAID WELL I HAVE THE ONE YOUR ARE CALLING ABOUT WITH CITI BANK AND HE SAID OH YOU LIED TO ME YOU SAID YOU NEVER HAD THAT CARD, THEN HE SAID I AM GOING TO GO AHEAD AND HAVE THEM SUE YOU. I SAID IS THEIR NOT ANYOTHER WAY I CAN PAY THIS AND HE SAID YOU CAN USE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO PAY THIS OFF @ $722.00 AND THEN JUST PAY THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY $35.00 PER MONTH. THE MAN GOT VERY ANGER WITH ME THEN HE SAID JUST PAY THE $575.00 AND SEND TO THE ADDRESS. I SAID HOW DO I DO THIS AND I JUST DON'T HAVE IT SO I AM GOING TO TALK TO MY ATTY AND HE SAID YOU DO THAT, I WILLSEE YOU IN COURT. HE MADE THE STATMENT "OH YOU CAN AFFORD A LAYER BUT YOU CANT AFORD TO PAY THIS. I THEN HUNG UP AND CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND ASK IF THEY WERE SUEING ME AND THEY SAID NO THEY WERE NOT.
