Paid a deposit for a cat in Nov 2022, now in May 2023, we still not have received a cat.
I have sent countless emails and FB messages asking direct questions about when, and how the selection process works, and when will we be notified about receiving our cat, and she always manages to dodge around questions. Just recently I wrote asking what is happening and how we can proceed with our deposit, and all she responded was that I got the cat's name wrong, ignoring all other context in the email. I see that she has had several litters, and people post photos of her animals on her 'friend' FB groups, but despite being confirmed as "second pick overall" I have never received a message from her.

I feel terrible now that I have provided this women with money, as it has also become clear she is a puppy mill. She has 8+ dogs, and pumps out litters of Dalmatians, and mini Aussies, let alone the cat litters. She operates with several alias' , and since her pages are as 'friends' bad reviews, or complaints can be monitored and removed, unlike if it was a proper public business page.

Would recommend to proceed with extreme caution.

I unfortunately learned this the hard way too. 2019 i purchased a mini aussie pup from her. Tje mornong of my pickup i drove 5 hours from toronto for her to tell me that she wasnt home... we scheduled this pickup day way in advance and she kmow i was coming. I called and had her let someone else give me the dog. She came with a "goody bag" of cheap dollar store dog stuff and crappy food she had been giving them. She was filthy and i took her to the vet before she came home because i have other pets in the housr and the vet said it was the worst case of worms he had seen. She was throwing up and pooping worms for 3 days. When i called Cyn, she insyead turned it on me calling me every swear in the book. Really pathetic. She said i could return the dog but not get money back... i was already attached to the dog and no way i was giving her back to that psycho. So i nullified any "contract" she said i had with her (never signed anything so no idea what she was rwferring to... and youd think someone who liked to brag and fight in arguments saying theyve "done this for 50 years so know what theyre doing" would remember a contract...) anyway, Daisy has a lovely life now away from that psycho. I found some of her siblings and they too had terrible worms and bad experiences with thia lady.

This dog breeder guaranteed me a puppy in her current 3 litters born in January. They then accepted my $300 deposit. They never mentioned that I would be on a waiting list as they guaranteed a puppy. I have proof of this conversation. 3 days before picking up puppies she posted a list of 50 people who have sent $300 deposits who are in line for 17 puppies. I was 31 of of 50 on this list. No guarantee. She still has adds up and trying to collect deposits on these puppies that are spoken for.
