I made a flight reservation and gave them my credit card information and received a booking/ID number. Then they called me numerous times telling me that price was a promotional seat price and they did not have any more seats at that promotional rate price. They said I could pay more for another seat on that same flight or choose another day to fly at that same price. I told them to forget it. Then I started getting fraudulent charges on my credit card. Luckily, I had blocked my credit card so no charges had gone through. They did not get the money for the flight either but they tried to use my credit card for other purchases.

I’m reporting this site, CheapVuelos.com, as a scam. I purchased an airline ticket using this site. I received a “confirmation” but not an actual boarding pass. The day before my flight, they told me that my confirmation was not a guarantee and i didn’t have a seat on the flight. They also told me the flight was full, so i was no longer able to travel as planned. Soon after, they made several attempts to use my credit card to make unrelated unauthorized purchases. I finally had to close my card due to multiple unauthorized charges. I lost $170 because of this. I hope this website can be be investigated and shut down.

This site, CheapVuelos.com, offers very inexpensive flight tickets. Once you buy the tickets, they contact you and tell you that you have to pay for the fare because the tickets you bought did not have a confirmed date. Then the offer you a new price for the ticket and ask you to provide personal information to make the transaction. They will keep calling you sometimes 20 times a day. That do not accept cancellations and say that if you do not want to pay the extra, your ticket can not be issued and they will not return your money. I lost $489. I call my credit card to report the fraud and Cheapvuelos send them a coding document confirming that my ticket was issued. I call the airline and they said that the ticket had never been issued.

I lost all the amount and I have to get a new credit card because my information was compromised.

Website offering cheaper airfare that was $747. After I booked they called me said it would be 5k to add luggage on and when I questioned them they became agitated. They charged my cc twice for $2184.51. The scammer called me from ###-###-#### but if you call ###-###-####

The agency called me after booking with unrealistic terms and conditions that were not explained at the time of booking. One of the main issues I was concerned about was the fact that I could not have any luggage on the flight at all which included a carry-on nor any suitcases otherwise. They were insistent that I had to upgrade in order to carry luggage of any kind. I told them that I wanted to cancel, and they told me I could not. They became very argumentative. I finally ended the conversation and told the manager who talked with me also, that I would call the airline directly. I immediately got a text with the 444.66 charge. When I called the airline, they said my booking was on hold and they did not have a charge for me. After much research they found that a different email unknown to me was attached to the account. The friend who I booked at the same time, was not on hold, The charge was connected to her flight and double the amt. They also put the reservation under her first name and my last name. I cancelled both and fortunately was reimbursed by the airline. After confirming with my friend, we booked directly through the airline.

I found a cheap ticket on internet and tried to make a reservation. At this moment the site got blocked (booking was not finished and no confirmation received). Next morning I received a call from Cheapvuelos and I was told that I made a booking with restricted conditions (including interdiction of having baggage, etc). I was offered to pay almost twice to have a normal fare. They said that the ticket was already booked and it was not refundable. To note that during booking no information was provided on any restricted conditions. The booking took place on the evening of 4 November 2024. On 5 November 2024 (plus to conversation over phone) I sent an e-mail to the company saying that I canceled my unfinished booking (no reply).

Booked a flight online under kayak and cheapvuelos.com gave a price for travel of $285.32 for DAB to ATL roundtrip. I used my credit card, and they gave me a booking ID, but never sent the tickets. I called and wanted to cancel the flight, and they gave me the run around. I called my credit card company and blocked this sale. I emailed them and told them of the blocking of the sale and to Stop all processes. Come to find out, they hold onto your money and never get a seat for you, they may return the money 7-10 days, but I asked them to stop emailing me and will not do business. They are using the scam of booking a flight and not giving you tickets for it. Pls stop this business intaking peoples money.

Did not notify my parents of any confirmation numbers for their flight, inform them that they would have to upgrade their seats if they wanted to sit together and to even bring their bags. They would have to not just pay the baggage fee to pay them a fee on top of the baggage fee as well. This was not on their site. They were so confused with them. They called and said they didn't have seats for them, and then said they did have seats for them. Refused to refund them their money after all that confusion. We are trying to dispute this charge with their credit card company. All this mess with in 2 hours of trying to make this purchase. DO NOT BUY TICKETS from these people! They need to be shut down ASAP! I feel like they do this to cause confusion with people and scam them into paying more!!

They did the same to me. I booked a trip with cheapvuelos.com. When the confirmation didn’t come I contacted them and the wait for answers started. Hours later I was told it was still being processed and I NEVER received a confirmation from them. At some point I was told: “please understand that he already on another call”. The whole thing seems to be ran by a single person. Then they wanted me to call them regarding “criterias and requirements associated with my trip”. I had never heard of such a thing and since they already have my info I didn’t trust to also give them a sample of my voice. When they contacted me by email they called themselves Fare Compare. Very unprofessional and horrible customer service.

I thought I had bought american airlines tickets, they told me I needed to pay an extra 1200 for seats because AA would not confirm tickets without seats. and then they apparently canceled the reservation and never gave me a refund. They never sent me an email , I was given MCLIJT confirmation number for AMerican Airlines. It's a total scam. This is the info https://www.cheapvuelos.com/contact
