On May22, 2024 I saw a horse trailer I wished to purchase on chateautrailers.us. The trailer is a 2017 Shadow Stablemate 2 horse trailer for $4100, stock number TK59371. I created a login for the client area in order to purchase this trailer. I received a sales contract May22, 2024 and returned the contract signed same day. I was instructed to send a wire transfer from my Wells Fargo bank account to JP Morgan Chase bank and reference NAME as the recipient. My payment cleared and May 30, 2024 my trailer departed Chateaugay, NY. The last scan of my trailer is June 11, 2024 from Chicago, IL. I have called the company phone number numerous times, and there is a voice recording stating to call back later, no one answers the phone. I have sent emails inquiring about the status of my horse trailer to [email protected]. I was informed there were delays due to not having a driver, then informed the driver was in Omaha, Nebraska and would be heading directly to me to deliver my trailer. This was on June 28, 2024. The initial estimated date of arrival per our signed contract was June 18, 2024. Now there are no replies to the emails I have sent asking about my trailer and when it will be delivered. I also called NAME at his phone 646-XXX-XXXX and there is no answer and no voice mail, gives a sound like a fax machine. Given I sent a wire transfer 7 weeks ago, last scan of my trailer was June 11 in Chicago, and no answer to phone or email, I believe there is no intention Chateau Trailers will deliver the horse trailer I paid $4450 for ($4100 plus $350 shipping charge).
