Charging for service that can be gotten free Reports & Reviews (1)

- Hollywood, FL, USA

Before I entered the airplane to leave to the Dominican Republic for vacation, I was given a link by the Spirit Airline staff to fill out an e-form , (previously given on the airplane on paper) to declare anything before entering another country. I had to give all my sensitive passport information in order to complete the form, but at the end, before it proceeded, I had to give my credit card info, thinking it was to identify my identity, not knowing they were going to charge this outrageous fee.

This service is given free by the visiting country, all taxes and fees are included on the flight.

These individuals are praying on innocent people trying to visit their families or people trying to relax from these very stressful times.

If anyone is flying for the first time, they can be robbed from $110 min to more for a FREE/INCLUDED service.

3 passengers had to fill out this e-form to get in the plane, I can't imagine how many travelers have been scammed on a yearly basis.

I just want to report them as scammers and predators.
