I was applying for a loan on the website www.cashwayloan.com. An individual named Jessie Handton had contacted me via text message stating I was approved for a loan (minimum $10,000). I was told I would need to submit a payment of $1200 for insurance, which would act like a guarantor for my loan. I advised this individual it is illegal to ask for advance fees. Then Jessie stated it was a security deposit. I declined.

This company called me indicated to me I was approved for a loan. They said I would have to pay $1200 insurance to receive a $20K. I paid it via etransfer. They said I had to pay an additional money $2700 to receive the loan. I canceled it and they said it will take one month to receive the $1200 back and still haven’t received it. It’s been over 2 months
