I uploaded images of a prom dress on Facebook Marketplace. About 30 minutes later, a woman contacted me and said she wanted the dress and was going to send me the money so she could pick it up the next day after she got off work. She said she only had Venmo or Zelle. I sent her my Cashtag from Cash App so she could send me the money.

She then sent me a screenshot that said the payment had failed and that I needed to contact Cash App support through a phone number she provided. I called the number, and they told me I had to send $600 in order to receive the $25 payment for the dress. I ended up hanging up and blocking the emails, phone number, and the person on Facebook.

She kept messaging me, saying I needed to call them back or she was going to contact the FBI and report me, and that I would be arrested if I did not send the $600 in order to receive my $25 payment for the dress I listed.
