Work from home job scam with package shipping

They explained about me contacting for a work from home job. In which I was and I was to do a log in information and finish with my w4 paperwork they had sent and the packages started showing up at my home. I never got paid they said that it would take some time for the transfer to go through. They only had me pay for certain things and ship them off.

Job scam from Cargo Vista using multiple fake supervisor emails

I had been applying for jobs, so when approached I wasn't immediately suspicious. Website looked legit. Was offered $4200/$5500 for a month's work. Several email addresses contacted me claiming they were various supervisors: Dakota Thomas, Theresa Brooks, Robert Loya and Mathew Turner, also an HR email address. I was desperate for a job and did not research enough. Have since frozen my credit and submitted a claim for identity fraud. I feel really stupid.

I was contacted by email in regards to a job opportunity to scan packages to see if any damages has accrued and to ship out items after inspection and was offered $4500-$5000 a month and was contacted by phone.
