Cardholder Services Reports & Reviews (105)

Phone number keeps calling me to get information. I keep telling them my number is on the do not call list. To day they called again I asked for a manager or supervisor they yelled no several times and hung up on me.

Some one with accents called saying they were with Experian or credit card customer services (hard to say for sure because their accents were so thick), offering to help lower my interest rates and they already had access to much of my info, so I thought they were legit. Plus I was half asleep and not thinking clearly. They called from rotating numbers on my caller ID and none of the numbers could be confirmed, all saying call can not be completed. The area codes are:515 and 319. It just happened, so I have not lost anything, but I am putting my card companies on notice to be safe.

- Statesville, NC, USA

Summary: This company has called me 25-30 times during January and February. I have tried to talk to a rep but they cut me off every time. I have tried many times to cal their number but it is always busy. Their pre-recorded message says to press #3 on telephone to discontinue getting calls. i have done this many times. I still get calls almost daily.

Resolution: I want them to quit calling my number.

On January 23, 2016 at 12:52 pm I received a automated call. I listened for an option to stop receiving call but there was no option given. I pressed 9 to talk to an operator and after waiting awhile he came on and began to give his sales pitch. I asked for his name and he promptly hung up.

This is not the first time this has happened. I have asked to be put on the DO NOT CALL list and was hung up on before I finished my sentence.

I have been on the DO NOT CALL registry for many years and have even re-registered several times. I want the calls to STOP! Thank you for your help.

Cardholder services calls me repeatedly asking to lower my interest rate. I told them I don't have any credit cards. they tell me the will put me on the do not call list and they called again today. they called me from 762-231-2012

I have received calls from a robodialer showing on my caller ID as '1' and my home landline number multiple times. If the call is ignored or left to VM, the caller calls back at a later time. Today a 'toll free' call came from this company. After six minutes of keeping the representative on the phone, he realized I was not purchasing anything from him. He got highly belligerent and used multiple forms of profanity before disconnecting.

Rachel from cardholder services. The call came from a 308 area code that was disconnected when I tried to call it back, however, when they initially called, I pretended to be interested and actually got a call back number that works (I've alrwady tried it and can confirm it works.) I know one of problems with catching them is scrambled numbers they use, but this is a landline that I can confirm works. The number is 4044186566 . I told them I wanted a website and I think the one he gave me is made up- it doesn't have same company name as one they gave me on phone. The man I talked to was named "mark Eden". The automated message said "cardholder services", he told me he worked directly for visa/MasterCard and assured me no third party, and website he gave me was ccrate911.com - I must add I am on the do not call registry as well.

- Oklahoma City, OK, USA

people call from card holder services in Oklahoma with an area code of 405, I have put my number on the national registry do not call list, they still call, I have filed a complaint with the police and they still call, I want it to stop, ive almost been fired because I've angrily yelled at them through my phone

For many months I have been getting robocalls from a firm identified as "Cardholder Services", with by "Bridget" or "Carmen". They offer to lower your credit card interest, but it is obviously a scam. They say to press "2" to be removed from their calling list, but it doesn't work. Each call (that I've listened to) has said "this is your second and final call"; I've gotten a lot of "final calls". Now, when I recognize the call, I hang up. The last two calls were on Nov. 18, 2015, and Nov. 19, 2015. I filed online complaints with the FTC, and, the last two times, I filed a complaint by phone. But so far the calls have not stopped. They can come at any time of the day.

Consumer reported that she receives calls weekly from Card Holder Services. They are constantly changing the phone numbers they use and she can't tell if it's them or someone else. She stated that the calls are computerized and instructs her to select 1 if she's not interested in consolidating her debt. Once she does that, a live person comes on the phone, she tells them that she is not interested and then they hang up.

Wants credit card info to lower interest rates. I'm on a do not call list.

- Norwich, CT, USA

I receive calls from local numbers on my cell & home phones. It's Rachel, Lisa or Heather from card holder services according to the robot voice. When I select option 9 to speak with someone it's usually someone with a foreign accent that answers. When asked to be removed from the list they either hang up or become irate and vulgar.

I have been getting phone calls for several years, only being called by one phone number. They were using my own phone number to call me. There's an automated voice message of a woman saying, hello this is card holder services. We are interested in helping you lower you interest rates. I wait for the option to speak to someone to have them delete my phone number from their business, and I've always had to wait several minutes for this to be done. In that time this person started taking to me. It was fine at first and then he started asking me personal questions about myself and my life. He told me his name was Michael and that he was my age which sounded like a lie and that he was from and different country but was now in California. I live in ***, Connecticut. He called me several times there after saying he was a different person. It escalated to the point where the first question I was asked when I got on the phone was what my bra size was. Followed by obscenities. I understand that I can easily block my own phone but please do nother look past this, It's very offensive and unlawful.

These are robocalls from "Bridget" or "Carmen" from Cardholder Services about reducing one's credit card rate. I have been getting them frequently for several months. I registered with the National do not call registry in July, but I've still been getting these annoying scam calls. When you press "1" to talk to a person (I've only done this twice), you get told you are on hold and are number -- on hold. (Obviously a ploy to get money by raising your phone bill). How can I stop these calls?
