This guy contacted me by text message about a car I had for sale on Craigslist. He asked one question about the car, then immediately offered to pay full price. He said he was stationed at an Air Force base in Massachusetts, and wanted to buy my car in VA immediatly and pay using PayPal. He asked for my PayPal account info. When I asked him how he heard about my car in Massachusetts when it was advertised only in Norfolk, Va. He refused to answer. Just kept asking about PayPal. When I told him I only deal face to face, he dropped offline. Then I Googled his phone number and found out he has been complained on numerous times for this scam to use a fake PayPal account to scam car sellers on Craigslist. His technique matched exactly with the scam info the ScamPulse.com has on their website.
