Scammer called and identified herself as an agent with Capital One wanting to offer consumer a lower interest rate. Began asking me questions such as expiration date on card and I grew suspicious. I then called Capital One customer service and was told that the call had not originated from them.

the said persons name is tracey she stated my name is tracey and im calling from capital one from the fraud protection department this is not a sales pitch or a solicit call im calling to verify information about your account the number to call is 855-968-3131 the reference number is 135319910505956 im looking forward to your call thank you bye bye. the date and time is March 27,2017 @ 0915 hours thank you for your help!
