CANVERIX… OBVIOUS SCAM!!

A few days ago I received an email for a data entry job paying $17/hr for CanVirex from an Andrea Rivera. The email states they found my resume and felt I was a good fit for the job. They wanted me to schedule an interview the next morning via skype. I did not respond. So I got a text this morning offering me the same job at $35/hr (huge pay increase right) that said I needed to click the skype link for an electronic interview. So I began to ask questions about the actual job and company but didn’t receive answers. I called the listed number and of course it rang and rang then went to voicemail. I said ok have a good day. They replied “this position is for data entry and it is a remote job for CanVerix.” I asked if it would interfere with my job (fake job) at the police department and they replied ok. Any questions I asked from then on they replied with “okay”. Be careful you guys and research these companies thoroughly. This company can’t be found on indeed and I didn’t apply for it but they got my resume that’s not posted. Below are a few screenshots of the convo. Stay safe!

Data Entry Position

Via Skype, they ask for you bank, address and personal references. I played along only to see what they would ask. Please beware of this scam.The have a fake text interview process with made up answers and questions. They send a fake offer letter only to urgently get it signed so they can still your money and identity.

Fabian Derrick texted me on phone with this same scam. Luckily I wasn't born yesterday and I Googled it. Yes, it is the same Luciano Schmitt on Skype under Fabian's name. he called me from phone # 785-331-4082 if you want his phone number. I have blocked him from my phone

An "HR officer" by the name fake name and profile emailed me pertaining to a remote job for $30 an hour. As it sounds too good to be true. It sure was. The company ne is canvirex located somewhere in Switzerland. In order to proceed with my "job" they wanted me to purchase a apple giftcard at a near by walmart, walgreens, cvs etc. to pay for the software needed for the company Apple laptop they were sending to my address via FedEx. I'm upset they have my info but glad I didn't go any further to to get a "decent paying job". I did an interview through Skype but never did a video call it was chat through Skype. I'm highly upset. Please be aware.
